Oh well, my English accent isn't as clipped and crisp as Hugh Laurie's. But, it's mildly British I guess. (A lot of people I spoke to in Chicago last month asked me which part of Britain I was travelling from. :P)

Sumit, I've had a similar experience when I was in Jaipur. This gentleman from the UK asked me if I was from there or have been there in the past. I gave a silly smile and said I didn't have a passport yet. :P

I LOVE accents. I'm glad that my boss isn't a British lady with a lovely accent. Otherwise, I'd never EVER be able to say 'No'. :P

Btw, current favourite British accent (female) - Karen Gillan (the character of Amy Pond) from Doctor Who. What a lovely Scottish accent!

Favourite male British accent - Who else, but the legendary Steven Gerrard!

Sumit- thank god none of my teachers is Brit or has an accent :P I'd be failing every sem then!

And I haven't seen Doctor Who so I can't say about that but about the guys? Steven Gerrard is marvelous but I also love Jude Law's. I actually love all the Brit accents :P even the One Direction guys :P

I've also started liking the Aussie accents :P Jesse Spencer from House M.D does it best!
