@Gehna - you could talk about recycling of paper, food waste being recycled, car pooling,

I don't about your city but here schools and colleges have one day where the kids go to the riverfront and pick all the plastic and other waste that is dumped in the river. it is cleaning the river campaign.

Also there are other campaigns that they work on by putting up banners or talking to people at signals and crossroads etc.. all based on environment theme.

(how youth wear Levi's jeans that are supposedly made from recycling plastic bottles.... Okay this was supposed to be funny but true fact)

@Gehna.. glad to be of help. Check out the Greenpeace website.. they usually have information on youth campaigns and intervention in cities on environmental issues.. you might find something there :)
