Sri - It was my second book I ever read ( first was Mother , another great book ) and it was pretty dense. I still remember a sentence in the preface . " If a writer were to write only for his time, I would break my pen " and it had me.Ini : yeah , I experienced the same , I just didn't want the book to end . I reread the favorite parts so many times :D
Btw , have you guys read Anthem ??
Sri - Anthem wasn't as good as the other two but it had one mind blowing revelation and I was like WOW :D
@Harry - ya I heard that.. that's why I put it off at that time.. I read three Ayn Rands back to back and then had enough.. :P :P Too much to process my mind said :P :PBtw has any one of you read Exodus by Leon Uris???
It is a book that talks about the treatment meted out on Jews in Europe and how they traveled to Palestine and then formed Israel. its a delightful read.. historical fiction but truly moving in how the author describes the struggle and the ultimate formation of the nation.
Of course it is pretty one sided in its portrayal so may not be a completely true rendition of actual facts but it is a great read.
Ya Ini - its a nice book.. it took me about half a day to get into it.. but once in I was hooked.. i stayed awake till 4 in the morning and completed the book the same day!!! :) :)
@Harry and Ini - have you ever experienced this - I mean where you read multiple books by the same author, especially back to back and find that the other books don't really match up to the magic created by the first one? I have felt it several times, which is why I usually mix my authors and genres so that it does not happen.. but i want to know if others go through that too??
@sri yes.. I have felt too.. Haven't read many. But there were few where it didn't satisfy expectations..!!
Hulk - Then where were you huh ? you didnt come online for 3 days and everybody were almost crying :( Training over now it seems :) Heading to Las Vegas ? :P :P

Sorry, Harry (Shaktiman)! :(
I'm only seeing Chicago during this trip. No Vegas, no NY, and no San Francisco.
*wakes up because of all the morning chit-chat* *says hi to everyone present* *gives Harry a sleepy hug* *puts earplugs and continues sleeping*
Sumit ^_^...I was going to ask how Chicago, but you probably have received that question a lot :P:P...anyway, how's Chicago? :P:P And when are going to have a thread for Harry's Q&A? I can't wait to see my big bro being tortured by clever questions :P:P
Sumit - Oh, it's evening there. We have a 12 hours difference. I will continue to read Mistborn, see you soon :)
Hulk - You don't have to waste time on me ..go and enjoy Chicago na :P :P btw , you look cool in your dp although a bit bulked up :P :P *hides away *
Hiiii Sumit!!!!! :D :D :D :D *hugs and gives Sumit a warm welcome* *tells him with teary eyes that I really really missed him*
