Switing between my phone and PC for reading and GR-ing respectively. :PWhat about you?
P.S.- Good to see you back to your normal form! *sigh of relief* ^_^
@Vins: Haha :DSorry if I worried u by my strange exit earlier .__.
GRing and *whispers "procrastinating on Mistborn"* But don't tell Sri!! *terrified*
Nah, it's okay. We all have low times. *Whispers back that she won't tell mumma because she is doing the same* :P
Yeah true that. But so far I'm liking it a lot. Give it a break and start afresh tomorrow, maybe you'll get the thrill back! :)

Don't laugh!!! Sri has threatened to be upset if I don't complete it!!
HI everyone :) :)And Ishi and others - chill.. it happens.. when reading a fantasy like this one, you go through such periods.. Don't worry. Get back to it, if you want, else it is fine.. :) No one's forcing you or anything.. it is not your course book that you have to finish it or anything..its for enjoyment..so read only if you are enjoying it and don't worry about the pace.. :)

U take things too seriously *shakes head* :(

Do you guys think it'll be easier to finish with a deadline? :PWe can threaten each other to fill the thread with spoilers after the due date. :P
Vinny wrote: "Do you guys think it'll be easier to finish with a deadline? :PWe can threaten each other to fill the thread with spoilers after the due date. :P"
Hmm.. I think so too...
*catches Ini on the run, gives her a coke and drags her back to the thread * *tells her to chill and start reading on Sunday *
@all mistborn readers - I am serious but am not angry or sad or any such thing.. so please listen.. don't read a book as a chore but as something that you enjoy.. If you do that, you will like the journey, which is more important than the final destination...
@sri that's completely true,,:-):-):-) i am enjoying and reading, i can assure u that..:-):-):-) Bcos i am really liking..:-)
*thinks all mistborns are in dull mood * *decides to progress fast and motivate them * *starts reading *
@Ini - I can totally see that you are enjoying it. That's why you are not caught up with the chapters or the length but with the content.. and that's the way one should read this book :) :)@Harry - ROFL :P :P
@Vins - Manj will be the first to tell you that I took a month to finish that book!!! :( :( And I read pretty fast but somehow never managed to get into it.. By comparison I finished the second one faster... and the third I still have to get into despite the fact that I was doing it with Sumit who has finished it already :) :) Under these circumstances, I had two options - one abandoning it for fear of peer pressure and the other to enjoy it the best I can.. so that the story leaves its indelible effect and impact on me.. I chose the latter and believe me I loved it more because of that... :)And this is true of most books that we read in our life :) :)
@sri :-):-) the book needs some justice too na..:-):-):P:P @hp y don't u give party for mistborn-ers :P:P:P
Hajarath Prasad wrote: "*sees roommate going to eat lunch , ironpulls his plate and steelpushes it to Ini * :P :P"LOL!! :D
Absolutely Ini.. it deserves full justice.. there are parts where nothing might happen and you might feel bored but those parts have an impact later.. and therefore are important.. :)You guys are talking about Mistborn.. i wonder how many complaints I will hear if I were to make you to read Midnight's Children.. the prose, despite being beautiful and intriguing is full of ambiguity and the author is taking his own sweet time to get to the actual point in the book :P :P
Sri- That's what I've been trying to do, to get into the book and savour it. There is a lot of information to take in and hence its taking time but I don't mind it (unless others spoil the story for me, which they won't since you've taken care of that :D). I'm highlighting lots of portions, re-reading them, taking notes- in short I'm enjoying it. :)
Ini : Mine is fiber :P :P Again Ini : Then they will eat and drink themselves to sleep :P :P :P
Sri - Totally agree with you !! I took almost 3 months to read Fountainhead and it still remains the best book I've ever read :)
@sri.. I am planning to start that this weekend, kept forgetting the copy at office and finally brought it to home now,,:-):-)
@Vins and Harry - that's the way to go.. yes competition is good and it helps but the ultimate thing is to read for pleasure...Am glad you two are enjoying your journey.. :)@Harry - I completed Fountainhead in 2 days top I think.. just couldn't put it down and forgot food, air, water everything for it.. Same with Atlas Shrugged and YES I agree it is one of my BEST reads ever!!
@Ini - that's great.. :)
