Utkarsh (utkarsh12) Every kid gives troubles to their parents. It's parents job to stay troubled. Kid's job to be naughty. :P

Em Lost In Books (emlostinbooks) Hi Utkarsh!

message 57972: by Utkarsh (new)

Utkarsh (utkarsh12) Good, we are starting from tomorrow na. I should finish GOTM then...:D

Hahahaha, no way in Hell. I am not mad :P

message 57973: by Em Lost In Books (new)

Em Lost In Books (emlostinbooks) good. am eager to see if you like it or not. :D

oh, you are going to watch it on your phone?;):P

message 57974: by Utkarsh (last edited Dec 03, 2015 07:25PM) (new)

Utkarsh (utkarsh12) I have mixed feelings about it. Sometimes I like, the story is intriguing at times, so much to explore. But not much has happened in the book, too much use of magic, and no reason is given about gods involvements. The idea seems to come from Greek gods but still too confusing.
And everybody seems to be immortal or something, that's just irritating.

I am not going to watch it, I don't want my brain cells, what little left of them, to die. :P

message 57975: by Em Lost In Books (new)

Em Lost In Books (emlostinbooks) come back pixie! i was just pulling your leg.:P

message 57976: by Utkarsh (new)

Utkarsh (utkarsh12) I am here, lol...was typing :P

message 57977: by Em Lost In Books (new)

Em Lost In Books (emlostinbooks) die hard fan says that one have to understand things on their own in this series... I liked the story in first book but as magic without explanation killed it. :( I so want to read this series...

ROFL.:D:D

message 57978: by Utkarsh (new)

Utkarsh (utkarsh12) Yeah, it's like a big puzzle and you have to read all the books to understand it.
You have read three books in the series, right. Try the next one :P and tell me how it is

message 57979: by Em Lost In Books (new)

Em Lost In Books (emlostinbooks) no, only two. Whenever I start MoI I fall asleep. so I don't think I will be reading it anytime.

so 2015 is almost over, which books you like most this year?

message 57980: by Utkarsh (new)

Utkarsh (utkarsh12) Lol, okay. Read it when you need to sleep but sleep's not coming. :D

Shadow of the wind, boy's life, promise of blood, the thousand names, Locke...

And you?

message 57981: by Em Lost In Books (new)

Em Lost In Books (emlostinbooks) am too lazy to search for it then.:P

Dresden 14 & 15, WoK, Shadow of the Wind, WoK, ASOIAF 1 & 3, Lonesome Dove, Godfather, Exorcist and Watership Down.

I was more generous with 5 stars this year. :D:D

thousand name was 3 star for me. though I like the end and Janus & Winter very much. :D

message 57982: by Utkarsh (new)

Utkarsh (utkarsh12) You didn't like military stuff of thousand names. But you have to admit it was tightly plotted, until the end it maintained mystery. And janus is full of mystery.

message 57983: by Utkarsh (new)

Utkarsh (utkarsh12) Yeah, you were generous with your stars this year :D

message 57984: by Hajarath Prasad (new)

Hajarath Prasad Abburu (hajarath) | 9245 comments Manu : What do you mean you like ASOIAF 1&3??? 2 isn't good? But I'm half way in and it's very good :O Very Very much better than Brandon Sanderson stuff :P *hides *

Hii Utkarsh :D

message 57985: by Hajarath Prasad (new)

Hajarath Prasad Abburu (hajarath) | 9245 comments I don't know why you peepul like Locke that much :O I mean he's good but I don't think he's 5 star stuff :O I've really tried hard but couldn't go past 45% of first book.. Too much detailing :O :O Not even Diwakar Benarjii movies have that much detailing :O

Hajarath Prasad Abburu (hajarath) | 9245 comments Manu : You have a niece?? Great :D :D I have a younger nephew :D :D

message 57987: by Utkarsh (new)

Utkarsh (utkarsh12) Hello harry...

Well, all that details makes the Locke more interesting. Every little details about his scam, and seeing it go wrong is fun to read. :D

message 57988: by Em*Greedy* (Iniya) (new)

Em*Greedy* (Iniya) (iniya_n) goodmorning folks. :-) *remebers that i dropped locke after reading first chapter**backs away*

message 57989: by Em Lost In Books (last edited Dec 03, 2015 08:59PM) (new)

Em Lost In Books (emlostinbooks) Hi Harry!

ASOIAF 2 is good when it comes to Tyrion, every other character is not that good. and that's why its not as good as 1 & 3 for me. :D

Magic System is far much better in Sanderson Books, characters not so.:P:P

& you don't like Locke? He is just awesome. As Utkarsh said its the details, research and every little preparation that he do for the successful execution of his plans, is so much fun to read.

don't know how you'll react to Kvothe then, if you're hating Locke.:P:P

yes, I have a niece. told you about her birth but you never replied. >_<

@Utkarsh: that was my first military book, so got easily bored by too much detail but I enjoyed it as the book progressed. :D will read 2,3 & 4 this year.:D:D

Manu : Oh okay.. I was bored too in the beginning but some twists in the tale are just awesome :D

Magic System? Brandon? I don't see any difference between Stormlight and Metals :P *runs away *

Ini : You are worse than me :O I atleast tried Locke :O
