I've been thinking the same thing.. Why am I not reading Lonesome Dove.. It's good.. Heck it's beautiful.. But still somehow I can't actually start the book :'( :'(

@Manju but Martin does it so well. deaths might look Unexpected but the reasons for it, are never abrupt. He justifies them with his writing very well. I mean, you can't argue that deaths were wrong, they fit according to plot. The puzzle Martin had created. Right?
True. He killed the people whom we hate except one or two. Death at Freys wrre wrong.:( but that turned the whole story upside down. After that nothing was predictable.
I was shocked at the last confession I mean why did he do that? Putting Starks against Lannisters. Showing Lanninsters in all the dark light.
Yeah, death at frey's were unexpected but don't worry 'north remembers' and revenge will be served. You will learn in fifth book why Starks are so loved in the north. I don't know why, maybe ambition but shows how cunning he is. Like a snake.
What are your thoughts about red viper.
you are tempting me to read next two books this year.:(:PYes he is so cunning. I mean I knew he was clever but never thought that he would be this capable. I think he was never over his first crush and thats why he did all that.
Every character except the Starks are so clever in this book. be it Lanninsters, Freys, Greyjoys or Boltons. Every single one. so Red Viper couldn't be an exception. he got what he wanted. He killed and avenged his sister but paid a heavy price in return. I loved reading about all the heavy politics around that dual. all the ifs and whats. The politics thats they all play is I think one of the best that I have ever read.
