I just can't put myself into the story, whenever I do something forces me out in real world. Like repetition of words, describing same thing more than twice in same paragraph.And also I find all the characters whining, they always whine about something. Takes focus away from plot, in truth I don't even know what is the plot. What is making the characters move, they seem like puppets to me.

its not that difficult. West & Co. are fighting against Bethod. Bayaz & Co is going in search for some relic. Dogman & Co. is trying hard to stay away from Bethod. Glokta is in Dgoska for something which i forgot.:P

@Manju lol! Yeah I know that. But nobody seems to have any motives. They are just doing what others tell them to. And all of the pov characters are full of self doubts. Gets boring reading about it.

Gets boring reading about it."I was like this after reading the first book but as you progress you'll know the purpose. Everything in the book has purpose. nothing is happening without any reasons.
Bayaz and Ferro is full of confident. Aren't they?
for others their circumstance are making them doubt themselves. but slowly they will overcome them. just have some trust in them.

Um.. I fail to recognise emotions and the resultant actions of characters.. That's one reason why I stay away from romances.. When I do a group read, when I point out something that I thought was flawed, people gently remind me the reasons, but I feel like an idiot then :/
it happens to everyone now and then as not everyone will like same book. there are books which you hate but others love (remember Me before You and NoTW?). So everyone is bound to be the dumbest person one time or the other. ;)

Hello Manju, the plot in before they are hanged is moving forward now. Things looks better as Logan ninefinger is taking charge, glokta found the traitors and west probably would do anything stupid. Now there is sense of danger and it looks interesting.
