Manu : Yes ma'am :) Bbbut you'll find not many flaws there as the book was superb :) I agree it's a bit slow but still it's good.

I've started watching the first part and they have taken several liberties with the book :O Killed entire chapters, introduced characters much sooner than they've been done in book etc
Manu : Then read the 3rd book.. I'll tell you it will surely be less colorful than the movie, seeing how Peter Jackson deviated from the book to the betterment of the movie :)
I did the same after finishing the first book. they omit the Tom Bombadil part from the movie.:/

If there has to be romance, then it has to be matured, good romance. Which makes sense. Not that kind of thing where the amazing guy falls for the average girl. Typical college story. I consider those books more as a 'refreshment' or 'break' books, basically to read between two serious novels :P
