hi poli!yeah at work and also GRing but everyone is asleep.:(
what you doing? btw congratulations for your scholarship and new phone.:D
Hahaha! :D No power since yesterday night and it broke my sleep too. :-/
GR-ing.. And reading WoR.. I guess that's what I do all day these days.. :P
And thanks..!!! Gee! I can't believe I turned from a pauper to a spendthrift in just a day.. :D
Mom lectured me the whole day yesterday for spending money uselessly. -_-
What are you reading these days? :)
Started Geisha?
great!! how is WoR going? No book shopping?:P
yes, am 10% done. :) girls are in Kyoto now in their respective Geisha houses and Chiyo has started her geisha training.:)
WoR IS GOING GREAT, Manju!!!!! You've to start this as soon as you can!!!! I was practically shivering yesterday in one of the scenes. :O :OIn WoK, though I loved it immensely, there were parts like those of Bridge Four which got a bit dragging once in a while. But there's not a single part in WoR that I'm disliking. :D :D
Sanderson is a hero!
Okay.. I think I'm ahead of you with Geisha.. but soon you'll run over me. :P
I'm ignoring everything because of WoR.. :P
oh thats good but i have too many books to read before I finally pick WoR. And also I want to read WoR in winters wrapped up in my quilt with a cup of coffee in my hand to savor the story of Kaladin. ;)I don't think so. Storm of Swords has all my attention for now. :)
~~Poulomi Nymphadora Tonk$~~ wrote: "And book shopping... remains to be seen.. *eyes glittering* :P :P"whats on your wishlist?
Manu : Don't mind this girl's stupid observations :| Bridge 4 is awesome as per Anirudh Anna and Abhay.. This girl reads stupid romances na that's why she likes Shallan better :/:\ You, me and Ini should read WoK together.. And Mumma too :D :D *dreamy look *
Hi Harry!I read WoK back in February.:P:P & Sanderson in famous for romance, actually he is very bad at writing romance.:P:P
You did? -_- *wonders when Ini gives permission for that BR, thinks no way before Tigana, looks at Tigana with dreamy look*One confession : All these days I've been thinking that Elantris is by Guv Gavriel Kay and Tigana by Brandon Sanderson -_- :P
Yes ma'am. Brandon sir writes horrible romances :P Even then if we happen to like them, it's only because of the characters :P :P
yes, I did.:P why only dreamy look for Tigana? start right away.:P:PHawwwww.....:/:/
I liked his characters when I was new to this genre but not anymore. Now I love his books for their world building, magic system and story but never characters. ;)
I'm already juggling 6 books at a time.. If I add one more to it :1. Ini will kill me for reading without her
2. I guess I can stop pursuing CA and start being a juggler :P
3. Every page of Tigana will go flying above my head, as you said Kay uncle's writing is very rich :P
Haha I like his characters but it seems all his books have this one trait : lack of clarity for characters.. Most of the book is spent on describing their confusion, unsure mind -_- If only he writes action than this unnecessary verbiage :/
Harry- Arre... I didn't meant Bridge Four is anywhere less awesome. I dreamt of Kaladin everyday!! ^_^But there were some parts that stretched a bit there.
Whereas WoR has nothing till now that is anywhere near stretching!!!!! :D :D :D
And shouldn't you have finished Fellowship by now? Go finish it instead of being unromantic. -_-

Mistborn series, Boy's Life, Hopeless, ASOIAF Book 2, The Little Prince.. and..*thinks*
Maybe some silly romances.. *sheepish look* :P
@Harry: I was just teasing you. Read Tigana whenever you want to. :)I totally agree with you. While Mistborn and Stormlight are prime examples of some lowborn turning into one of the most powerful person with magical abilities (& also they find they were unaware of their magical touch), Steelheart and Rithmatist are series where protagonist have no magical powers but there is no one better who understands these powers. :/
@Polo: thats a long list!!!:D *happy seeing Boy's Life there*;)
Ohh great. :p liking Danny now? Not so great, new and old minor characters are hard to recognize. But still it's a lot better than red knight.
Manju wrote: "Polo, fantasy is incomplete without SWORDS!!!:P"And Shardblades! And Stormlight! ^____^
Utkarsh wrote: "Pony! Run to rainbow like unicorn. :p"I'm Dreamstorm today. Don't mess with me. :P
Lol, I'm really missing WoR. :-/

No. but (view spoiler) I was shocked.!!!
don't compare it with Knight, tell me how is it in comparison to its predecessor. :P

that only belong to Stormlight Archives.:P but swords are the necessity of every warrior.;)
~~Poulomi Nymphadora Tonk$~~ wrote: "Manju- I know. I'm being Stormlight-ish today.. :P"hehehe... I know. ;)
