Kriston (kristonjohnson) | 6 comments I write YA fantasy/paranormal. I would like to connect with one or two people to form an online critique group. We could exchange around 15 pages or so twice a month. I like to use Track Changes in Word, but I am open to other ideas.

I would make a good fit for YA, middle grade, fantasy, and paranormal stories.

How would this work? Do we want to do a circle, where everyone critiques the next person in the circle? In the ones I've done in the past, it worked better if people didn't have a partner, but rather, always critiqued someone who was not critiquing them.

So, maybe we could each send our pages to two people, and so forth, so everyone got 2 critiques. BUT, if anyone didn't come through, they'd automatically be dropped from the circle.

Kriston (kristonjohnson) | 6 comments I would like to read the same story each time I critique. I can get a better feel for the character and the plot as a whole if I can read the chapters in sequential order.

If we did a circle, would we send our chapters to the same two people each time, or does it rotate? I have not done it that way, but if it works I'm willing to explore it.

Melissa Wheeler | 9 comments i'm interested as well, I'm a little sketchy on my works per say, but the first chapter never disappoints ;)

Kriston (kristonjohnson) | 6 comments For anyone who is ready to commit to this, send me a message. I would like to get a head count, then we can decide how we want to exchange pages.

message 13: by Kriston (new)

Kriston (kristonjohnson) | 6 comments Okay, I have posted here and sent direct messages to everyone that said they wanted to be involved. I have received responses from those interested. I guess I will close this and consider our group complete.

For those who have sent me a message...I will contact you this weekend and we can discuss the details. I'm looking forward to working with you!
