Adira looked up at the castle, dressed in peasant garbs. She has her black hair twisted up into a messy bun and was stalling before walking into the royals' home. Off to work, she thought, then started walking. As far as the king, queen, and their only son were concerned, she was a new maid. As far as she herself was concerned, she was there to kill the crown prince.
Danny made his way through the long hallways.This place could not seem any bigger then it really was.Since he had grown up and train from a young age.Mostly everyone would think he would never amount to anything but training so long he got a job as the head royal guard when the king himself came to ask if for him.Of course he accepted,leaving his family for this new one.It was everything he had ever dreamed it would be.The hallways seemed never ending with so many doors but he knew where he was headed as he quickly turned right and made his way outside.He bumped into a young maid.
Adira stumbled, opening her mouth to say 'Hey, watch it!', but caught herself. That wasn't how a maid was supposed to act, unless they wanted to get fired, maybe. "Oh, I-I apologize," she stuttered, looking up at the man who'd bumped into her. "I didn't see you."
Danny bowed quickly."My apologies,my lady."He said looking at her with a frown."I should be watching where i was going"He said making sure she was okay before smiling.
My lady? She was a maid. But, of course, Adira didn't object. Bowing her head, she curtsied. "I am Adi," she told the man, keeping her head down, simply shortening her name for her alias.
"It is my pleasure to meet you Adi"He said as he grabbed her hand gently ad kissed it."Forgive me for my unsuitability to focus today" he said sighing.
Adira nodded, rising from the curtsy. "And forgive me for not paying attention to my surroundings, sir," she replied.
As he let go of her hand he flashed her a white teeth shining smile as said."Excuse me"As he parted walking away quickly.
As he left, Adira arched a dark brow. Strange man. She turned away, resuming her walk to the castle's doors once more.
Danny quickly made his way the Academy.He spend half his time training the young prince how to defend himself.The young prince was waiting for him there.He hoped on his horse and quickly made his way there.
Once she was there, one of the other maids gave her a tour of the castle and showed her what was where and how to remember how to get there. Since she was new, she would be doing small stuff for the moment, but Adira didn't care much. She would do her 'job', work her way up, then complete her real job.
