A bit strange, she isn't a librarian and only has limited edit-ability as an author.
if she is a GR author, I thought only she could make changes to her profile...
Not her profile - her work, ie her books.

There is nothing contrary to Goodreads policy in the author's request. However, there is also nothing contrary to Goodreads policy for a librarian to make any necessary edits without consulting with the author first.
