10.7 From the Source
Trivial Pursuit was created in December 1979 in Montreal, Quebec, by Canadian Chris Haney, a photo editor for Montreal's The Gazette, and Scott Abbott, a sports editor for The Canadian Press. Read a book predominately set in Canada or written by an author who was born or lives in Canada.

SamZ (samwisezbrown) Goodreads says Yann Martel is a Canadian author, but has lived all over the world and was born in Spain. Does he work as a Canadian author for this task?

Andy Plonka (plonkaac) | 4207 comments May I get this book approved for this task?
Rush Home Road by Lori Lansens
It says in the author information that she is a Canadian by birth, and this book appears to be set in a small Canadian town in Ontario just across the border from Michigan. The mythical town was the last stop on an Underground Railway path from the southern US

The author is Canadian and she says she used Chatham, Ontario as" a landscape that would become the backdrop for my first three novels.

Cindie | 1835 comments How about Roberta Rich? The author bio on the back of The Harem Midwife says she divides her time between Vancouver, British Columbia and Colima, Mexico?

Hina (hinaj) | 677 comments I am going to read Vampires Are Forever (Argeneau, #8) by Lynsay Sands by Lynsay Sands. Although, majority of the series takes place in Canada, just my luck I get the one book that doesn't, but I found out that the author was born in Canada so it still should qualify.

Kim (goodreadscomkimber) | 708 comments I just read A Spy in the House by Y.S. Lee. On GR main page it states that the author was born in Singapore, raised in Canada and lived a short time in England. I am assuming by this, it means that she still resides in Canada (her book has won recent Canadian awards), but as it does not state that she lives there now specifically I wanted to get permission to use this author for this task. Just have to be sure before I fill the only other task it would fit into. Thanks!

Thanks so much for looking further into it. I didn't expect you to do that, but the question has now been answered very helpfully. Thanks!
