The wikipedia page on 'trivia' mentions a few colleges where large-scale trivia contests have been held. Appropriately enough, these colleges appear in a tri-o of states: Colorado, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin. Read a book set in any one of these states.

It will work if it is more than 50% set in Colorado.

Would The Passage work for a book set in Colorado? Colorado was a HUGE setting for the book, but not the only one... I'm not sure it would be considered 50%.

Well, you'll have to determine whether it's 50%. It's been awhile since I read it, but I seem to recall that there was a fair amount of travelling around.
