Lending hard copies of books in your building

Hey all, I've been browsing forums here on Goodreads for hardcopy book exchanges and nook/kindle exchanges, as I'm a big fan of sharing literature. I live in NYC and recently joined a site, www.mycoop.com, which is a social network for residential buildings. They have a feature, Shareplace, where you can exchange items with people in your building, including books. I've exchanged some books from people using it, and in the process had some good conversations about what we're reading and met some new people in the process. Anyway, thought MyCoop would be something those of you who live in urban areas (not just NY) would enjoy!
