Uhhh idk if saying this is out of line, but pirates in Pax is kinda... contradictory. The whole point of Pax is that they're against factions and things like that, and are generally self-righteous do-gooders. They elevate their values because that's what they do and who they are. They don't sail pirate ships, they burn them. Honestly, I can't imagine that Pax would allow a pirate to join...

Listen, I'm extremely tired right now, and I really shouldn't be modding or creating characters, and I've also been in a rather terrible mood all day. I've been working on a new character. Well, kind of. I want her to, like, be the kind of person who is just completely unassuming, but then turns out to be the backstabber. So if you want, I could probably work something out.
Well, I came up with a random faction name- Gladius (Sword in Latin). I'm just trying to figure out the basics about 'em.
