Bailey Ordiway | 5 comments Hi my name is Bailey and i am a new member of Goodreads but hope to be a big part. Anyway, my first book is coming out in a few days, I self published. I'm looking to get it out there and was hoping to do interviews with as many people as possible, maybe get featured, and just talk to other authors to get my name out there. Is there anyone that can and would help me with any of that?

P.D.R. Lindsay (pdrlindsay) | 43 comments Actually you really need to set all this up months before you publish. You need a Goodreads giveaway going, similar giveaway events on other websites, ARC copies out to sites where readers will read and write reviews for you and then you publish. Takes time to learn all this but you'll know what to do before your next book is published.

Start a giveaway here now. You have a website? A blog? You're on LinkedIn, Google plus and Twitter? You have an author page of book cover pics and author photos at Pinterest? Read some of the helpful articles at IndiesUnlimited.com on how to use all these to your advantage.

Learn how to do it now ready for a great launch for your next book and just rush like crazy to catch up on PR for your current book

Good luck and send me some details and a cover pic which I can put up on our Writer's Choice website to give you a little boost. Have you see our Coverblurb site? You can promote for free there as well.

Synosis for "VENOM in my Veinz" by Rumont TeKay

No matter the effort that Bromise Balducci put forth early on to undermine his passion to kill, he’d fall weak to the seducer of power over again. Initially, it was only his mentor and grandpa, Brisco, that basked in the joy of Bromise’s frequent killing sprees.

Then something changed. He began to feel the urge to kill; to feel his adrenaline rush through his bloodstream, as his pulse beat in sync with the rapid blasts of his banger. With each job, he became more addicted to the power of controlling life or death.

His signature style trigger-finger placed him in a class of his own. He chased the rush like a clucker chased a fix with only one objective in mind…to take back the crown that was wrongfully stripped from Brisco…The King of Chicago! And nothing or no one will stop him.
