Well that was a pretty full on chapter.
It certainly seems that Kiska has some kind of power, that was under developed and Agayla saw that in her and was trying to teach her how to use it.
This was a ine that jumped out at me; when Agayla was on the shoreline fighting the onslaught of ice and raiders, she mentioned to Tay The path to Ascendancy are far more varied than you imagine. That is the first time we see what the actual goal of Kellaved and Dancer are. It isn't just claiming the Shadow Throne, it is Ascending. Now it might be, that you need to ascend to claim the throne, but this is the first mention of Ascending.
I never realised that Tayschrenn was once a servant of D'rek. That has some interest that I am going to look out for in later books.
Kiska's visit for the third time to the shadow realm, where she meets edgewalker and discusses the glacier, was very interesting. it is said the Jaghut inadvertantly let it in this world when they wrought their ice magic too strong
I always thought the Jaghut concocted the ice to create a barrier between them and the Imass.
So much more happened in this chapter, but I'll finish this post sticking with the Ice. It looks like Jhenna was working with the Raiders to allow them to assault the island. Which raises a whole raft of questions regarding the deadhouse and the occupants within.

Really an overall good chapter, just a little turned around on the Warren business. So Corrin uses the Warren of Light to travel, and Kiska sees things in the mirrors that shape the landscape for her. That is explained through her inexperience with Warrens, but Corrin also seems shocked that Kiska can see those images. I agree with you Lee, Kiska was saved by her "Aunt" since she was a natural talent, and I hope those talents come into play!
Yes I thought it interesting at their different views in the warren. Corrin's bridge of emptyness and Kiskas thousands of mirrors. Corrin did mention something along the lines of time has allowed that view, so maybe Kiska is seeing endless opportunities?

I cannot remember the exact line about time, but do remember Corrin's reaction when Kiska started moving towards the image of Agayla on the sand. What would have happened? Would Kiska have been able to move to that location herself without assistance? Why was Corrin so worried; just worried of losing Kiska, or something worse?? Soooo many questions. These Warrens are giving me a headache
