To be honest I'm not sure how to start this. Which is pathetic I know considering that if this book survives to be read by someone such as you, bear reader, you would expect some grand tome written by a supposedly great scholar who's name you can't pronouce, but instead you've got what basically amounts a journal written by a twelve year boy. Which in a way, it kinda is, but if you continue beyond this. I will make sure that I will explain the many moving parts of this world and it's many tales as best I can, and I pray to the firefly that I can somehow do them justice despite my inexpeirence.

So with that out of the way, I suppose I should introduce myself to you. My name is Quintus Carrlion and I'm the first born of the demigod triplets born to Melody, the virgin goddess of peace. And as of now I'm only twelve years old at the time I'm starting this. However, I've been fortunate enough to have learned under some of Ronadmere's brightest minds, so hopeful that will help me write this tome. As for why I'm writing this, well you see, a few night back I was visited by a strange creature in a dream. He called himself a trecan, and looked for lack of a better bescription, like one of those sitched together taxabermy creatures one see at a traveling carinvails. With the body of a squirrel, the the beak, feathers, feet, and tail of a bird, and the long fingers of an aye aye.

Now the creature told me many a things that I will reference in this text. However, the most important thing to understand is that he claimed to come from a time where after some great cataclysm, most of the history of this time has ether been lost or has been become myth. Worse still he claimed that this apocalypse is fast approaching. So he implored me to write this text so that at least some record of this time might be preserved for the surviviors of this destruction, and that all the stories and wonders of this time might not be lost to the passing of time.

Now I understand if you don't believe me dear reader. To be quite honest I'm not even sure if I believe all this myself. However despite all this all this, I encourage you to turn the page dear reader. Regardless of what has happened between now and your discovery of this text. If all is well, then you've found a half way decent account of Ronadmere and it's many wonders. However, if the cataclysm really does come to pass, then you might just be holding the last will and testament of a land long gone. Who's secrets long lost are waiting for you just a page away.

So with that I wish you a good read, till next time,

Quintus.

Night ~People Sometimes Scare Me~ | 599 comments A quick question/idea thing. What happens to the souls of the dead? Do they disappear? Are they reborn? What happens? I was thinking that maybe we should try and figure that out. Depending on the ideas we come up with I had a fun new plot idea, one that actually might bring a spark back to Song.

They go first to the underworld where Mortus and his daughter decide their fate weather it be rebirth, heaven or hell.

Night ~People Sometimes Scare Me~ | 599 comments Okay. Never mind then. My idea most likely wouldn't work. Unless... but that's kind of a stretch. I don't know. I don't know if the idea I had would fit and I'm not sure if you want to waste your time humoring me.

Please I actually haven't put much thought into the afterlife so please shoot me your idea and I'll tell you if it fits.

Night ~People Sometimes Scare Me~ | 599 comments I was thinking that maybe all souls could be cycled and that heaven and hell were only temporary residences as either a reward or a punishment for a job well lived or lived poorly. I was thinking that maybe Mortus could accidentally get Aileas pregnant. They would have no clue what the child is but she/he would be a god/dess of rebirth. It sounds like Mortus' first child is more of a judge so they might not conflict to terribly. Heck they might even work together. And I don't think it's all too far fetched to have gods and goddesses who border on each others talents and as we saw with Flora and Fathamore over in a song a god or goddess to pick up the pieces when the original dies.

Aileas wouldn't give birth until right before Tenderis destroyed the One World. This would give her a chance to hide away this new child. I'm thinking that instead of dying Estallia can get wounded and saved by Aileas who in return recruits her to hide and protect this child. She also tells Flora of the child's existence but not the full details so she doesn't have enough to hunt it out or imply what its powerful are until she actually inherits the strength of Aileas.

Once this new being(I'm most likely just gonna use she since it's easier to write out of habit but the gender is still up for decision) of Rebirth exists she can slowly start doing her job. But without a new life goddess she can only recycle the souls who died after the shattering of the world and she doesn't yet have enough strength to pull a soul out of heaven or hell. So slowly she's working with a smaller and smaller number as Aileas' remaining power fades and Flora has to take up the mantle. I was thinking she would have a small world on the farthest fringes of the universe. Not really in the darkness of Tenderis, but floating dangerously close. The world would consist of a species known as the Spectros. The Spectros would be the spirits who she's slowly over the years pulled out of Heaven or Hell. This would of course cause problems with Mortus' daughter since she'd have no clue what this being of Rebirth is or who. Which could cause suspicions to be cast on Tenderis. The Spectros would very rarely have their memories and posses no physical form since the rebirth being would need a life goddess to help her create those physical forms.

Of course these are all just random ideas I came up with because I'm really bored and I thought they might be good enough to throw into Song and maybe get it alive again. It could be a good spark for plot. And of course I leave them to be changed and tailored to your whims since it is your story!
