Mel | 3 comments There was a book that I read back in the 90's. It was a vampire novel about a writer named David, who was pursued by a vampire named Dominique. She was European and pronounced his named as Dah-veed. The cover of the book had a beautiful female on the cover with her fangs out. I forgot the name of this book, I would like to buy it and read it again.

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments Not sure if he's a main character, but there's a David in the I, Vampire series https://www.goodreads.com/series/5046...

And, according to Google Books, there is a Dominique in the 3rd book

Mel, are you still looking for this? Was it Tab's suggestion?

Michele | 279 comments This sounds a bit like Lori Herter's series of romances about a vampire named David and his friend Darienne (another vampire).

David wants to be human and lives as much like one as he can, there's 4 books and he hooks up with a different woman in each, but Darienne is always dropping in to give him a hard time about the human thing, until she gets a love interest of her own.
