message 1: by Alicia (new)

Alicia | 17 comments Hopefully someone can help me. I recently bought The Lost Night (Rainshadow, #1; Ghost Hunters, #9) by Jayne Ann Krentz and according to what I read it is 1st in the Rainshadow series, but 9th in the Ghosthunter series by Jayne Ann Krantz. I am wondering if I can read this book and start the Rainshadow series alone or do I have to go back and read the ghosthunter series first? Please someone help me.

Sandra | 4734 comments You can read this one first if you want.

The others are good though, so you'll want to read them eventually. You can probably borrow them from the library fairly easily as they've been out a little while now.

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments I like this author and I am not sure why I do not read more of her stuff.

Sandra J Weaver (sandraweaver) | 147 comments You can read it as a stand alone, I think. There's enough background given that you should be able to understand things.

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 58 comments She writes these in such a way that you won't be confused if you read them out of order. The books are primarily set in the same universe but no long running plot lines and often no duplicated characters from one book to the next.

Thank you, I was hoping that this was that kind of series.
