Who else loved this book?

This book is a must read for any Epic Fantasy reader!
A great story with many twists. Prophecies, assassinations, power struggles and puzzles. It is a coming of age story (Eddings, John Gwynne, Robert Jordan etc,) but the story keeps you wanting more. This is just what I needed! Most fantasy published today is alternate universe, Dark Fantasy, paranormal, wizards, witches and demonhunters etc. I guess that's what sells? I like Butcher's Dresden, but I was raised on Tolkien and the before mentioned.
This is a great read and the first of a 5 book series i think? Rush out and buy it I dare you! You will be hooked.....

This is on the mature side of a read; not for the kiddies.

Awesome novel of Epic Fantasy that has a little bit of classic and a little bit of modern mixed in that makes it a gloriously brutal read indeed if you're a fantasy lover you will not be disappointed in this book
