So we are all enjoying books right now. Some of us are enjoying more than one book. Tell us what you are currently reading. If you are reading multiple books like I am tell us what they are. Are you enjoying it so far or are you starting to hit a slump because of the book.

I have not been able to put it down. I have had to force myself to put it down when I have had to have time like to answer comments and things like that on goodreads and of course do adult type things.

I am loving this book. I think that I am about half way through it. I didn't do much reading last night. I spent most of it watching the television.

I have not wanted to put this book down. I know that I should but it's so freaking awesome. The twist that just happened I was not even expecting.

Meera I just finished reading Ice Like Fire (Snow Like Ashes, #2) by Sara Raasch and it was better than I thought it would be. I'll be moving onto the next one soon.

I got a bit burned out on the last book for the series. It took way to long to finish it for me.

message 28: by R.J. (new)

R.J. Abell | 682 comments I can't remember how many HON books I've read...I'm wanting to saw all except for the last one...I enjoyed the writing...but the books were never ending. I felt the same about Robert Frosts Wheel of Time series...and Sookie Stakhouse...

I feel like something's wrong with me because all of the above series I've listed are good...but the Harry Potter series didn't bother me of course there's a difference in 7 books and however many there are of the others.

I really enjoyed HON but when it got to book 9 I was excited and prepared for it to end. Then I got to the end of the book and it said "The End For Now." I threw the book. I was so frustrated. I had worked up myself to be prepared for the end of the series and it didn't end. When the book finally came out and I got it I was prepared for the end but but the time I finished it three weeks after it came out when the others only took 24 hours I was done. Finished I couldn't not even love the end. It just didn't seem like the best end to me. It could have been better.

message 30: by R.J. (new)

R.J. Abell | 682 comments yeah, I don't know. I hate it when I know the writing is good, characters well developed...but I just don't like it because I"m over it...does that make sense? It makes me feel like I'm being overly critical like so many people I've came across from time to time...you know people who just don't like things because they're popular...

But that's def not me! I love Harry Potter, Twilight, goodness so many other books I've heard other people call mainstream lol.

Yes, it makes sense. And you are not being overly critical of it. I kind of got to the point there for a little while where I did not love the series and like two books sat there waiting to be read. Have you read any of the novellas? If I had to suggest one I would have to suggest Lenobia's Vow if you haven't. I enjoyed that one the most.

No, I usually don't get into novellas, I don't know why but i just don't. Although, I did read Lori Brighton's The beautiful Ones. It's a novella and I'm glad I didn't know it was before I downloaded it, because I would have skipped over it and missed so much!

I loved Lenobia's Vow. I also loved Dragon's Oath because it explains so much. I enjoyed Kalona's Fall because it finally told you about his fall. You always hear about his fall but never really learn about it. Then Nerefet I didn't like that one as much but you learn about her past as well. All books such wonderful information.

However right now I have all of these books started.
