Need help with book name!!

I am not even sure if this is the right group, but I am hoping that this book will ring a bell with someone! It might be part of a book series, I read quite a few of those. Also, it could be considered Romantic Suspense, another of my faves!
So in the book, the H/h are working together but do not really know each other well. The heroine has to abruptly leave to go down South (Tennessee but I am not sure) to her mother who is in the final stages of Cancer and is dying. Our hero follows her down there and by being with her for this, they get together!

I have been racking my brain to remember what book or author this is from. Help!!
