Tiffany | 2 comments Greetings! I've gotten messages about an author with the same name as me is having her books listed under my profile. I've checked it, and it looks like it isn't happening anymore. So, that problem might be fixed for now. Our names are still coming up together in searches, which is understandable. But I've been getting messages claiming that I'm a fake, and I wanted to check make it apparent that I've been an author using this pen name since 2007. So, this is the first time that someone else has had the same author name.

Is it possible to keep our books separate and not automatically listing onto one or the other's profiles? I am working on a new book, and wouldn't want it to link to her profile. I'm sure the other Tiffany Turner doesn't want her new books linking to my profile.

Author name shared: Tiffany Turner

Have you had this problem before? I've heard there are two Stephen Kings too.

Ayshe | 3084 comments Yes, it happens, you can see plenty "Please remove book from my profile", "Incorrect book in my author profile" kind of threads around.

The other Tiffany Turner profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... has two spaces between first name and last. As you have the default Tiffany Turner (only 1 space between names) all automatically imported books with that name will land on your profile.

When an incorrect one is attributed to you, you can always request it moved in this group. The other option is that you change your profile to Tiffany Turner with 3 spaces between names (or contact support@goodreads.com for that). But then you'll need to ask for your books incorrectly attributed to the default (1 space one) to be moved.
