Very, very similar, but not too similar. Really refreshing actually, especially since watt uses "real" problems in her novels and not some deep internal dispute all the time. But theres enough of that too. Just as capturing, if not more, plot. YOU WILL LOVE IT ITS JUST. SOOOOO. GOOD.

I started the series pretty much right after finishing the published fallen crest books, convinced no book would ever help with the withdrawal anytime soon. But the royal series is THE BEST. SERIOUSLY. (Ok... Obviously i just finished the last part and am having minor wothdrawal probs... AGAIN... So suggestions?)
The protagonist is slightly different but to be honestly more likable than Sam cos ya know... At least she makes sense? Aaand shes not as sulky and conflict avoiding... Just me? K.
But apart from that the royal series is kick ass and also deals with a hot relationship, bitchy priveleged kids, messed up adults, super hot kinda step brothers who rule the school, super hot friend zoned brothers and a bad, bad, bad, bad nerve shattering cliffhanger at the end. Be prepared.

If that didn't STILL convince you, read a sample becos the series is first class junk food. Entertainment at its best. Yep totally lovestruck

read the pepper jones series. i have read alot of books and i swear that that series is so similar to the fallen crest series.

the academy by C.L Stone Series is very similar and good.

I wrote this in another chain--Read Nero (Made Men Series) by Sarah Brianne. It's probably darker than the Fallen Crest High series. High school setting, touches on (hardcore) bullying, and there's a Masonish alpha hero ready to defend his girl. I already can't wait for the next one in the series!!

Pretty Little Liars and Tijan's "new" A Whole New Crowd (this was written before Fallen Crest but never released. it's a great story. Very similar to Fallen).

If you haven't read The Keatyn Chronicles by Jillian Dodd (book 1 Stalk Me is free) yet that's an amazing series and I only started reading FCH because it was recommended as similar to KC.
