I just started this because I thought a Victorian Era mystery with some fantasy would be right up my alley. But it seems to be going in the direction of a discussion about evolution vs religion. Just wondering if anyone else has read this and knows if the book keeps going in that direction or if it sticks mostly with a mystery, etc. Thanks!
