I was a little on the fence about it after reading Fangirl and the connection with HP felt weird but now I'm going to pick it up for sure.

Wrong (Wrong, #1) by Jana Aston by Jana Aston

Very typical NA romance / erotica. I feel like I have read so many similar books and it's not captivating me anymore. Maybe it's just the fall season when I feel like reading more fantasy than NA. I don't know, it wasn't a bad book. There were some good LOL moments and I liked the female main character Sophie a lot. She was just so adorably geeky.

Feel-good, low angst story, exactly what I needed today!
I was happy to see opposites James and Rafael moving past their differences, letting go, trusting each other and finding love. I loved Marlowe, the Boston-terrier and Sophie, Rafi's friend, they both were great additions to this sweet story.

The Dark Tide
Date read: 10/15/16
5 stars

Although this series was written several years ago, I only found it in the last year or so and have spread out reading it as I didn't want it to end.
I love Adrien and how trouble always comes to him.
This last in the series sees him recovering from heart surgery, adopting a cat and finally having a friendly relationship with his last 3 beaus.
I love how the women in this series are portrayed especially Lisa.
Obviously I was glad that he got his HEA with Jake too.
I know its over but one more book set up to dae to see how everybody is getting on would be great and also I am not sure what Alonzo's beef was with Adrien, it would be nice to see that resolved.

Alice Clayton is the best! I love her books. She has such a light and fun style with absolutely best characters in modern contemporary romance at the moment.
In my opinion this fourth book in Cocktail series is the best so far. Even better than the famous Wallbanger itself. I can not resist a great romance between a handsome vet and an ex-beauty queen socialite turned the pit bull rescue shelter owner.

Ash is into tattoos, art, and a good time. He know nothing about scifi or computer stuff. When he meets Fee, the nerdy friend of his sister-in-law to be, he is immediately attracted. When he's turned down he tries even harder, reading a guide book and watching the Star Wars movies to learn more about what Fee is into. It's a cute story without too much angst.

I love Penny Reid and this book is yet another example of why. Sandra is extremely intelligent, quirky, funny. Alex is hot and his bitcoins back-story is complicated and interesting. Even though it's a long book, it's a quick read (especially if you ignore your adult, life responsibilities and read like a maniac.....sad, but true.).

Return to Blackcreek (Blackcreek, #3.5) by Riley Hart
4 stars
Date read: 10/22/16

This book took us back to visit each of our three couples in turn and each had a momentous occasion within. The epilogue then took us more up to date.
It was nice to see how our three couples were getting on but I have to say for a shortish book ( 170 pages) there was a lot of sex and it was very much the same sex.
I cant say a lot about the book without giving the surprises away but it was a satisfactory ending to the series.

This is classic Mary Calmes, and it still makes me tear reading it for the nth time. Vince is perfectly snarky and Carson is adorable. Love the interactions between the two. There is a bit of insta-love but I can forgive it for the HEA.

Hmm...I liked the beginning but then the middle and end felt a bit too excessive. This story attracted me right away. Loved the May-December romance as well as the pining (each didn't think they could have the other.) But then once they became a couple, the sex scenes became overwhelming and too flowery. Then there was the carrot thing. Had to skim over that. But I did like the characters - Noah, coming out as gay in his forties, and Zane, a young man who has had responsibility thrust upon him too early in life.

Funny and sexy read. It took me some time to get into it with the political situation and all the characters but once I did I enjoyed it very much and I couldn't put it down. Nate and Aiden were hot together and the secondary characters were lovable and so much fun. I can't wait to continue reading this series!

This is so far the least favorite book in series although Jack must be my favorite Travis family member. He is just so perfect and handled the situation with a stranger popping up on his doorstep with baby in tow so gentlemanly.
Lisa Kleypas always tells a good story but the female lead character just didn't do it for me this time.

This was my first from Colleen Hoover and I really liked it. I especially enjoyed the interactions with Lake and her family, and with her new best friend. I do wish her relationship with Will was developed a little more. I just didn't get where these intense feelings they had for each other were coming from. But it was good one. Major tearjerker.
