READING SCHEDULE

I have a question about the schedule? It says book one and two.. Are we reading two books?

I knew the term "Big Brother" came from this novel, but I didn't realize that "thought police" did as well. Both are terms that have been used enough to make sense out of context. I always find it interesting to learn the source of phrases like this.

I agree Susan! It's so interesting learning that certain words and phrases sometimes come from the most unexpected places

I've finished Book One and so far I really like it. I can just imagine the tension that Winston lives under; I think Orwell does a good job conveying that.
