Robin (robinmy) | 3476 comments Michele Albert wrote the Avalon Investigations series. These books are hit and miss for me. Her Last Chance is the last book in the series.

I found Marti Green's first book as a freebie on Amazon a few years ago. It was pretty good, so I thought I'd give the second book in the series a try. The series is call Innocent Prisoners Project.

Robin (robinmy) | 3476 comments Thanks Kris. Her style is a little bit more "tell" than "show", but the stories are pretty good.

I read Sabrina Jeffries' The Hellions of Halstead Hall series a few years ago and loved it. Her writing reminds me of Julia Quinn.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) | 2447 comments Good to know, Robin!

After that one, I read Hotwire (Maggie O'Dell, #9) by Alex Kava Hotwire by Alex Kava. It was a quick read, but I still have problems with the heroine.

Today I finished Let Sleeping Rogues Lie (School for Heiresses, #4) by Sabrina Jeffries Let Sleeping Rogues Lie by Sabrina Jeffries. Cute book, but far too many secrets.
