What Time Is It And What Are You Doing?
8:18pm CST here. It's been raining off and on since around 3pm. We sat for hours reading/watching the squirrels feed on the dried corn we put out yesterday, and reflecting on how much we love the simple things in life.
It's 8:20 pm central time and I just got through adding more books to my tbr list that I can read for free online on wattpad.

Sandra wrote: "Are there any Southern Comfort drinkers out there or am I all on my own?"I think the last time I had Southern Comfort was back in college, Sandra. If I have boubon/whiskey, I like Jack Daniels!

OMG...am I going to have to drink on my own? I don't mind the odd Gin, and am quite partial to wine (unbiased as to color) and the odd beer......

So, how do you serve up your S.C.?
Sandra, what time is it in NZ when it is midnight in Chicago (US Central time)? It is currently 7:43 AM central time Saturday.
I used to drink southern comfort in my late teens, thirty years on I prefer a single malt.So at 11:58pm and having finished said single malt I'm chillin on here for five before heading off to sleepy byes.

The time is almost five p.m in England. I'm getting to grips with a new novel I'm quite excited about. I usually write crime, but have strayed into the supernatural field with 'Play Against the Devil.' A black magic story
This has been one hell of a week. Thanks guys for your kind thoughts. I was in the grocery store last night when I get a text and a phone call from the hubby that my oldest is having trouble breathing. I rush home and then rush her to the hospital. Turns out she has croup. Her airway was swollen which was making it hard for her to breathe. After two hours a dose of steroids and a popsicle, they sent her home. Then I had to deal with the barking cough and crying until about 1:30 in the morning. Up early this morning to get the groceries I just abandoned.
Oh and Sandra & Michael in about 2 hours I will be enjoying several glasses of Jack Daniels honey and green tea gingerale!!
