Back to the hotel around 11.00 pm, going to sleep 12.00 a.m !

Really full days, but yes I do need another holiday to recover from the holiday !

Just spent some time booking a four day treat (For a Christmas Present) for my wife.

Fly from Jersey to Southampton

Stay at the Ennios Boutique Hotel, overlooking the harbour, a lovely five star hotel.

Then booked the Mayflower theatre to see

Jersey Boys (again )

Love the show.

Taken the day off tomorrow again, my wife has the week off.

My half brother and went into O'Fallon yesterday to pick up my new glasses. At US$122.20, they were a little more than a 1/4 the price of my brother's bifocals, AFTER insurance.

Right now I am figuratively kicking myself in the ass for forgetting my earbuds.

Alexa sounded and my feet hit the floor.........well, they slowly hit the floor. Still babying the large swelling on my back from surgery 4 wks ago. I am a slow healer.
The BIRD is buttered, seasoned, wrapped in buttery cheesecloth and packed in his cooking bag. This is a first for me - gonna give it a try for a moist turkey.
Kids are coming to our home this year...........including our new great grandson, Eli Joseph. Cutest baby in the world.

Thankful for my family and for the fact we are happily settled in, in Missouri. I blessed all the family cooks, who have gone on and hope I do dinner justice, and we make memories for the kids today.
