It is 7:30 p.m. here in No. Central FL and I am making an Italian chicken noodle soup that has fennel bulb and basil pesto in it. Hoping it turns out as yummy as the picture looks!

9.24 in the a.m. here in Cornwall. About to go over to Mevagissey to pick up some fresh fish from the wet fish shop on the quay.....yay!

Almost 7 a.m. Soup was yummy. Just finished breakfast and now I am making cherry cheese pie

15.00 exactly and just back from Mevagissey. Managed to get a whole Haddock, a whole Cod, 4 large Mackerel, a Monkfish tail, 12 Scallops, and 2 whole Lemon Sole - all landed last night! Also wanted 3 crabs but they hadn't been cooked yet so the fishmonger is going to drop them off tonight after closing up!

14.57 pm and just finished ordering some new glasses on line. First time I've tried this so the results could be interesting!

Linda the soup sounds great! For my taste I think I might have added a little fresh chopped chili, not too much because the flavours are great and I wouldn't want to spoil them.

I tried a blackberry and sage sauce the other day to go with duck, it was pretty good (including a little chili) even if I do say so myself, and Louise tried it later with cheese and loved it that way too!!

It is 16.10 in the pm here in Cornwall and we've just finished a late lunch. Duck in lemon chili sauce. With Spaghetti. Made with white vinegar and the zest and juice of a lemon it sounds weird but it's wonderful!
