Oh no,no,no....! I NEVER let him poop in a neighbors yard, that's awful, he goes in mine and then I make the kids pick it up, he is their dog :D

I'm a physician Doodle, I'm switching jobs and going into urgent care, thus the need for ACLS certification

Ah I remember you mentioning that a while back now :)
Sorry, my memory is not the best...
Are you looking at working at a hospital then? I'm not sure what 'urgent care' entails...

It is in an outpatient clinic, not in the emergency room.
People can walk in for medical care for any reason, usually you don't expect someone to walk in and have to be resuscitated, but you still need to be prepared. These clinics are not for emergencies, rather urgent visits if your own doctor is not available or if you don't have a doctor and are sick.
@Malina - Sounds interesting :) I had to do basic cardiac life support course for my job too (radiographer/x-ray tech). Luckily I've not had to use it yet!
It is 11:09 AM. Just returned from taking my 95 yr old Dad to the dentist. They have no elevators and he climbed the one flight of stairs like a champ--I was impressed. Now I'm trying to catch up on all the threads!!! Keeping up with this group is like a full-time job!!!!Doods, aka, Mopette, have you ever been to the USA?

IT's 12:03 in the afternoon here. Kid #2 just got home from school and is refusing to use the potty. I'm silently cursing my children whenever I have to use the Y because they broke it on my keyboard.
@ Doodle, I sure hope I never need it as well, it is very stressful! My husband is a pediatric emergency medicine physician and he loves it
We have a doctor in the house and I didn't even know it. Great profession, Malina.

That's right!
If I have any medical questions, I can go to Chris and Malina! Very cool.

Ruth wrote: "People??? I just got a pedicure. Just in case you were wondering. Happy feet!"Nice!
Personally I would never let anyone touch my feet. I've got issues...
Hey Ruth!I'm relaxing, looking through FB and GR, waiting for bedtime for my little one so I can watch an episode of Grimm
it is quiet. I'm not up to much either. I promoted my abyssfantastical web serial that I wrote here on goodreads at different groups that is a ya horror fantasy one, updated my gr books I am reading right now, and just hanging out. I'm going to do my bible reading and stuff before bed though.
It's 3:55. My kid just wet the bed and I can't go back to sleep. Have to be up in a little over an hour!
10 am - had a lie in (that's what days off are for, right??), had a shower, ate breakfast, logged in to GR. Discovered a message from a mod that asks me to nominate 4 books of different genres for an upcoming book read. Now I'm stressing to find books that are good enough! Oh the pressure!
It's 8:45 AM and I'm drinking coffee, reading, checking out GR and Facebook. Sunny day out there today for a change.
Malina wrote: "8:56 am, empty house! Listening to some music, eating a yogurt and drinking my cup of tea."I'm jealous. It's 9:53 about to go and pay the electric bill and then take my youngest to the library to get new books and for storytime. Hope to be back home before the rain starts and my son gets home. And enjoy a quick cup of coffee.
10:57 AM Sitting outside enjoying the sun. Waiting for Letha to get home.

Remind me, how old are your children?
2:37 PM Just got back from the thrift store. Filled a bag with books for a total of fifty cents. Boo yeah!

6, 4, & 3 The oldest is in Kindergarten and in school all day, the 4 year old is in a special education class(he is on the autism spectrum) from 9-11:30 everyday and the 3 year old is home with me. The last time I had the house to myself was about 3 weeks ago for 20 mins. Before that, who knows.

I'm glad mine are older! Take every minute you can :)
2:21 rode my bike for a few miles, now waiting for kids to get home from school or the text asking to be picked up, I'm kept in constant suspense!

closing up a space to make a new conference room, and rebuilding our previous conference room for new offices. Sounds pointless? Probably so.
