09:50 reading The Girl With All the Gifts while my daughter watches Tom & Jerry on my lap. We've got all the windows and doors flung open and fans on so are actually reasonably comfortable for now!

I was watching the weather here in Kansas and you are not going to believe this. I Salina, 35 miles away, at 10:00PM, it was 101 Deg F adjusted with the humidity. Ah, you walked outside and it was just terrible. You can't even hardly see out the windows. Just thought I would share that little tidbit.
It's 1;45 a.m. I'm listening to pounding rain again. Can't sleep so I downloaded a short story, Locked Room. I hope it's good.
Hi Lynn i watched the two movies, the first one is good but i think the second one better. Did you like the books?
Just managed my first bit of work for two days. I hate it when I'm ill - it's so frustrating. I'm about to have tea soon so I hope it doesn't start all my stomach problems off again. I so need to be well tomorrow as I can't afford to waste any more time.
Aymen wrote: "Hi Lynn i watched the two movies, the first one is good but i think the second one better. Did you like the books?"Yes, I definitely liked the books.
Enjoy your walk Aaron.Heather i hope you feel better soon, take care.
Lynn, i think i have to buy these books
:)
The heat can't be helping, Aaron. I know it doesn't do my diabetes a damned bit of good but I can't stay home all damned day, either. This is why I hate summer.12:56 PM Catching up to email and GR. Not listening to anything because I did NOT feel like going home from downtown Belleville's historic Lincoln Theater to pick up my earbuds at home. With a Heat Advisory in effect; once I'm home, I'm home and you will NOT budge me!
Today was one of the free movies they put on in the summer thanks to sponsorship from the BANKOF BELLEVILLE. Today's movie was PADDINGTON. In two weeks it's HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA.

Thanks Aymen, much appreciated. :)
I'd eventually switch to GATORADE, Aaron that way you don't end up with hypokalemia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypokal... ). I've had it before and it was a brass plated, cast iron pain in the ass! I think in my case, I had it because of DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis) which is in and of itself ANOTHER cast iron, brass plated pain in the rear..That said, it is 2:44 PM for me and I am continuing to wade through email.
I spent several hours in the hospital for it, getting sub-Q potassium fortified fluids and a huge bolus of insulin.
