What Time Is It And What Are You Doing?

E-I hope you have your electric back on.
Be careful in all the storms out there in the US.
Just lots of rain expected today in TN.
Hi Sophie…your cake sounds delicious. Will yo..."
Morning,
Haha we call your weed whacker a string trimmer over here.
I am undecided whether to try and do a banana sandwich cake and fill with buttercream or just make a banana loaf to have with a cup of tea later on. I'm waiting for my butter to soften up a bit so have plenty of time to decide but will probably stick with a loaf as I don't have the ingredients to make the buttercream (I use mascarpone rather than butter as it's creamier and lighter)

12:31 PM Listening to watchmojo.com's Top 10 Fantasy Movie Weapons (on #5...Sting), wading through email and catching up on GR.

Oh my! Feel well soon.

Oh my! Feel well soon."
Thank you. Hopefully it's just a pulled muscle as it's not quite so bad today!
10:00 Just got into the office and am treating myself to a latte and a bacon, egg and mustard roll for breakfast before I knuckle down to work :)

Also wading through email and goofing off on GR.

Congratulations on your 22nd anniversary - have a lovely lunch.

Happy anniversary, Heather!

14:57 Getting ready to leave the office to see some old work friends for a drink. Shouldn't really be doing my hair and make up at the office instead of working but nobody else is here (sssshhhh)

Thanks Sophie. That takes me back and it's one thing I miss about working from home - all those spontaneous nights out after work. Have a lovely time. :)

All the more reason to make the most of it - haha!

Lisa, sometimes more and sometimes less. Now that the weather is nice, I'll try to walk every day.

Good for you. We are freezing this morning so no walk for me, lol.

Ugh…feel better. Maybe some peppermint tea and crackers?

Good idea. I have a mint plant outside. Might consider smushing some with some hot water. I don't have crackers though. Maybe some dry toast...
I am hoping it's actually self-inflicted due to too much wine on an empty stomach last night rather than a bug lol
14:27 watching My Little Pony with my daughter who is slightly obsessed with it!

ginger or mint are very good for settling the stomach along with dry toast :)
First day of our weeks holiday, at home but still nice. Weather awful so no craft show.

That is a huge fight. I cannot believe the money they will get for this fight. Why not throw the fight and retire, lol.

Just back from the shops and about to start that faff that is meatballs for tomorrow's dinner. Bit of a fiddle but well worth it :)
