J CONTAINS SPOILERS

The murderer confesses! Fortunately Candy had the same reservations I did about drinking that tea or there wouldn't be any sequels ;). I still don't understand how two little old ladies -I'm assuming they were little old ladies lol- had the strength to carry out murders. Turns out apparently Miles wasn't the nice guy everyone thought he was, taking the contents of the treasure box for himself. Wasn't he asking for trouble donating the box itself to the library? Made it obvious he had the treasure.
I think Lydia's actions in the beginning led to her death. There was no reason not to call the police when she found Miles' body. She didn't wasn't to reveal her reason for being there but with him dead, their business dealings legally were over. She was not there illegally and by doing so would have removed the reason for her own murder .
Did anyone catch what the author referred to as the theme running through the series even though one might not have read any of the other books?

Not a good move on Lydia's part. I would have informed police immediately.

PugMom (nicoleg76) | 2014 comments I have no idea what the theme is. I just picked up Town in a Lobster Stew from a Little free Library I just found so I'll read it eventually and see if I can figure it out!
I had no idea who the killer was. Do you think the author gave enough clues to figure it out?

J Nicole- I thought I had raised the question early on of the possible involvement of the Ladies Whatever (sorry already returned the book) in Miles' murder, thinking perhaps they were against the sale of his farm. At least I thought I did but I can't seem to find it now.
I had suspicions of the group as a whole but no individual member.
Here's a hint about the theme- it's at the very end.
Let me know how you like Lobster. I might read it also.

My guess jumped from character to character so I was not a good go-to source in this mystery. Sometimes I get the perp nailed, most often not. Poirot would've thrown me out long ago. LOL
