HEEEY I'm back from that long break, and I hope I can start posting here more again! My old threads were kind of boring so I guess I'll try to spice this one up!

A JOURNALISH POST

Hi! In less than one week I'll be back in school, and I'll be honest- I STILL don't have all the supplies I need. I did get some new clothes though, which was cool. My favorite of them was a skirt with the pattern of Starry Night by Van Gogh on it, because, starry night!

When school starts, I'm going to start this whole routine routine to stretch my writing potential. I'm thinking of at least one poem a day.

Also, An Ember in the Ashes is engaging so far, it features child soliders, which is an aspect that appeared in a lot of my favorite books. I hope the main character, Laia, becomes more of a strong heroine later on. I'm also rooting for the other main character, Elias, to escape the iron-fisted control if the Empire. Overall, this book seems a little predictable but it's still got my attention.

I also have been drawn to the purple aesthetic lately. Midnight, galaxy, violet, lavender, pastel, stuff like that. It's always been my favorite color, so I'm not surprised that I'm now addicted to staring at blogs with nothing but stunning purple pictures.
