The book had an intriguing plot line that kept me captivated enough to turn the pages, however, I felt like some things were either not thought out, or rushed. For example, the main character's relationship to those she knew from Trid - I thought there would be more about this aspect, especially after all the changes that part of the city would undergo throughout the book. Also, I thought that the main character was supposed to be some sort of badass, but really she just whined a lot and wallowed in self-pity about feeling "powerless" - all-in-all though the book was interesting and I liked the political/sci-fi aspects of it, along with a warming romance.
