M.R. Carey writes intriguing and complex characters that capture the very essence of being a human – flaws, hopes, possibilities. The story is told through five POVs. Who is your favorite(s)?

This is a difficult question as I loved and hated most of the characters at some or the other point.
I think my favourite were Melanie, Gallagher and Dr.Cadwell.
Melanie because I really liked her and it was important for the story to understand what she is going though.
Gallagher because even though he was a soldier, he was very naive and I liked seeing this horrible world through his eyes.
Dr.Cadwell, well she was definitely obsessed with heavy shades of grey.

I completely agree Poonam! All the characters' personalities fall on a spectrum for me, with a bit of love and dislike, and everything in between.
