We're going to post the list for HORROR STORIES soon. We have one author who hasn't signed yet. ;)

1930s horror classic? Haunted house chiller? Sign me up. I pre-ordered the Aickman a while back. Now I just need reading time!

That's been my biggest problem lately.....
We've been inundated with people this summer so it's been rough. But they're all gone now, so back to business as usual.

Absolutely! :)"
I'm pretty booked up for October, but I might be forced to make some room.

I'm interested."
After a summer of promised reviews and BETAS, I'm in the mood to read some of the "favored" Valancourt books, just for myself!! (Of course, I will happily review them, but because I WANT to) ;)
Just saw that aforementioned "1930s classic that Karl Edward Wagner named one of the best horror novels of all time" is up for preorder on Amazon. I'd hug you beautiful bastards right now if I could, in a relatively non-creepy manner.

Valancourt Books wrote: "I mentioned four books but only posted covers for two. It's time for a vacation. :)"Teasing us?
Thanks, you guys! My copy of The Valancourt Book of Horror Stories got here today. I'm ordering direct through you from now on.
Enjoy!
We're planning on a series however it may not be annual. It depends on what stories we can get the rights to.
We also have the Valancourt Book of Victorian Christmas Ghost Stories anthology coming out this year.

Maxine wrote: "I got mine too, can't wait to start it!"Same here--I also broke down and preordered the LATE BREAKFASTERS and other tales, and one other one that isn't pictured, but comes out the same day. (paperback formats)

How about a sneak peek at our Horror Month releases? A 430-page omnibus from a master of weird fiction, Robert Aickman; an anthology of 17 great horror stories by Valancourt authors, some never before published; a 1930s classic that Karl Edward Wagner named one of the best horror novels of all time; and a great '70s haunted house chiller by Archie Roy. We're super excited about these! More info coming soon.
