YES!!! totally :)
Is there set pages or is it a free read?

Super good question! When exactly should we start?

Good question!

Or is it only one?"
I think there are several perspectives or POVs.
What is your favorite part of the book?

I don't always like so many perspectives, it confuses me so much.
Hopefully this will be good. Her other books were so amazing.

Without further ado, here are the first set of questions:
Part One: Shadow Business Discussion
-What was the moment you became absolutely hooked?
-Would you have accepted Van Eck's proposition? What would tempt you to take such a risky job?
-Is Kaz a sympathetic character?

I would not have accepted the quest. I think Kaz can be a sympathetic character depending on what part of the book you are at. I got hooked on the second chapter and when I realized the book was by the same author of the Grisha Trilogy.
[SPOILERS]
Do you guys think it was illogical to have brought Inej or to for them to at least alter her appearance? If you think about it they must have known that Heleen Van Houden (owner of the Menagerie) would be there who would be able to recognize Inej at least because she worked for her. Also even if she was disguised Heleen is used to having to recognize her by her voice from her time working for her and knows what she looks like now because of the meet up. I just thought of this. What do you guys think. Was it a bad idea for Kaz to bring Inej?

I think this was intentional, part of Kaz's plan. They needed a diamond (to cut through the glass) and they needed Inej caught by the guards so they can take her to the hallway where the tank was (where she met with Jesper and Wylan). She stole the diamond necklace from Heleen Van Houden and Heleen's statement that she is not part of her girls was a confirmation to the guards to take her in custody.

I would definitely not have accepted the request unless I was working with an army of Grisha soldiers (I'm only half joking)
I think Kaz is a very sympathetic character, but due to his hardships and the persona that it is necessary for such a wanted criminal to be feared, the side of him rarely ever shows. (Kaz don't kill me)

I can understand that point but it just seems that there could have been a better way.

2. I am not enough of a risk taker to take Van Eck's deal, as much as I would like to think I would.
3. Kaz is chaotic good, which is probably my favorite alignment. I think he's sympathetic, but it's definitely hard to tell from the first few chapters.

-I have no idea if I'd accept Van Eck's proposition. I don't think I could ever imagine myself in this situation because if I were me, I'd be dead. To survive in the Barrel you have to become really screwed up and I think I'd just be a different person entirely
-it's really hard to sympathize with Kaz during the first section because of how he's portrayed, but later on as his past is revealed and his walls start coming down, it's a lot easier for the reader to feel sorry for him or even put themselves in his shoes

- I'm not sure if I would accept Van Ecks offer but I can say is firmly consider if I was Kaz. He knows his crew is capable of.
- Kaz in the first section was sympathetic I believe. A boy of only 17 already holding so much responsibility and grief. Especially in the standards he hold himself, the way he beats back any and all emotion just gets me.

- I don't really know if I would accept the deal. Only if I was really desperate and I have a kickass team like in soc behind my back and I know we can handle it then I would've accept it. But if not then no.
- Only because of his past and the things he had gone through made Kaz look sympethatic.

Okay, time for the serious talk. I was immediately drawn to Kaz's character since he really resembles Leigh Bardugo's other character, the Darkling. I especially love these kinds of characters who have a dark past and develop as the story progresses. Their three-dimensional personalities keep me intrigued just like a real friend would,
Anyway, I would continue to update...But I really need to study for my Biology test. (Procrastination Problems)

I don't think I would accept the quest. It sounded too dangerous with too many moving parts, there would be a huge chance of things going wrong and I would not want to risk that.
Kaz is definitely a sympathetic character, although he is pretty prickly in the beginning. Still, there's a charm there. You just can't help but to admire a criminal that cunning.

-I might have if I had the skills and a kickass team. Maybe the money but if I didn't have a team or anything to help me then no way.
-I never thought Kaz was even capable of being sympathetic but then I saw the way he acted toward Inej (at times when he thought no was looking) and I knew his heart wasn't completely made of stone.

YES, don't you love a morally complicated character?! Don't they make you feel conflicted in the best?

I have the problem that I do not like all the characters, so sometimes when one character I dislike gets a POV, I can't help but get bored and strugle to read past it.
-What was the moment you became absolutely hooked?
Inej and Kaz first conversation in chapter 2!
-Would you have accepted Van Eck's proposition? What would tempt you to take such a risky job?
I, contrary to Kaz, I'm a sort of a patriot, so I would have done it just for saving the world, I guess. *Insert Capitan America here(?*
-Is Kaz a sympathetic character?
Kaz? What Kaz? Oh, do you mean my hubs Kaz with his awesome comments and his badass actitud? Yes, he is a sympathetic character indeed. I just know there is so much more about himself than that, and it justmake me want to know everything about him. He just got me by the end of chapter 4. So I just know deep down he's sweet.

I was thinking something similar, and it's that morally complicated characters are the best and my favorite, so that's why I like Kaz so much I think.
From my dead hubs The Darkling to my new hubs Kaz lol.
