Also, is each god going to have a race like this? I don't think I'm going to give Flora one (at least not until a lot later). But considering the story I'm going to use for how Tenderis got his I kind of wanted a certain number of Aileas's Beastlings to be that way for her (like partially a greater race and partially not. Like the ones who take after mythical creatures like a dragon or a griffin Beastling would be that way but something like a cat Beastling would just be a regular mortal)

The idea I had is that Tenderis stole a number of Beastlings when they were a young species and raised them himself. He renamed them the Wildlings and the rest is sort of history. It would make a little more sense how they're Tenderis's angels if a certain number of the Beastlings had been the angels of Aileas.

If that doesn't work though I'll come up with some other reason to explain it. After all you most likely don't want a ton of greater races running around already (why I'm not giving Flora one yet).

Actually I would like to keep it the number of greater races down to just the ones that have a major impact on this world. For example the two unicorn will have a big role play in healing the world once Tenderis has his way

As for the wildlings they most definitely being quite interesting and important as the spider's main form of intelligent soilders. Though is it just me or is this group becoming a strange crossover between Lord of the rings and game of thrones?

Well I know I'm going to make Quetzal for sure but I will make Maginhar as well if no one claims him within a week just because aside from Tenderis he's one of the bigger villains in the story of Song and Dance.
