newest »

3- I read the last 200 pages of The Queen of the Night, then read Homegoing and The Assistants, and started Grunt: The Curious Science of Humans at War (50 pages)
Total page count: 885
2. Did you participate to a bingo (individual or team)?
Yes, group.
3. Did you have fun? What were your favorite parts? What would you like to see more of in future read-a-thons?
Yes! LOVED the group Bingo! Next time I'll try the individual Bingo too if there is one (please!) Also enjoyed the games, especially the scramble ones and the ABC hunt.
2. Did you meet your reading goals? What were your biggest distractions?
Yes! I hoped to read 2 books (including one I was already reading) and I finished 3! My baby is always my biggest distraction. I only read when he's sleeping.
3. What was your favorite read of the read-a-thon?
Homegoing
4. Do you have any suggestions for how to make the read-a-thon better for next time?
No, I think they just keep getting better :)
5. Do you plan to participate in future group read-a-thons?
Absolutely!

2. Did you participate to a bingo (individual or team)? Yes I participated in both.
3. Did you have fun? What were your favorite parts? What would you like to see more of in future read-a-thons? I had a lot of fun! I really liked the group aspect of the bingo challenge, it was really fun. I would really like to have a group and an individual challenge in future readathons aswell. It was fun to be able to do both.
2. Did you meet your reading goals? What were your biggest distractions? I wanted to read all of the books I needed to take back to the library which was 6 books. I also wanted to listen to Lord of the flies on audiobook which I only did a little bit of. I added a graphic novel so I did finish four books/graphic novels in total. I'm happy with that, even though I didn't get to all of my library books. I was very ambitious setting that goal. My biggest distractions was just life in general, having to do other things than read.
3. What was your favorite read of the read-a-thon? I really liked How to Lead a Life of Crime and Tease.
4. Do you have any suggestions for how to make the read-a-thon better for next time? Maybe it could be a little bit more challenging or have smaller groups so everyone feels like they really participate. In the last like two days we had completed almost everything and I had completed a row in the individual bingo card so I didn't feel super motivated to keep reading.
5. Do you plan to participate in future group read-a-thons? Absolutely, it was really fun, I'm glad I participated.

2. Did you participate to a bingo (individual or team)?
Individual bingo
3. Did you have fun? What were your favorite parts? What would you like to see more of in future read-a-thons?
Yes it was fun to participate and I really enjoyed being pushed to read. I also liked the games (except the scrambled letters - terrible at that). I'd maybe participate on a team next time for more fun.
2. Did you meet your reading goals? What were your biggest distractions?
I exceeded my goals. I thought I'd get maybe 3 books read but I had 6. Of course some were shorter but I was able to check off prompts on my various challenges.
3. What was your favorite read of the read-a-thon?
The Cruelest Month by Louise Penny. I think it helped to just keep reading the book so I didn't lose my train of thought and was able to remember what is going on. Love the Armand Gamache series.
4. Do you have any suggestions for how to make the read-a-thon better for next time?
No. Great job, mods!
5. Do you plan to participate in future group read-a-thons?
Yes.

I finished 5 books. I fully read Father Mine: Zsadist and Bella's Story: A Black Dagger Brotherhood Novella, Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, and My Lady Jane. I finished the last hour of Go Set a Watchman, and the last half of Strawberry Shortcake Murder. I read a total of 940 pages and 14 hours of audio books this time.
2. Did you participate to a bingo (individual or team)?
I tried to do both. It was easier to do the team one. Trying to do both was harder than I thought it would be. lol
3. Did you have fun? What were your favorite parts? What would you like to see more of in future read-a-thons?
I always have fun when we do the read-a-thons! I loved the group bingo, it was fun! I hope that we have another group bingo in the next read-a-thon.
2. Did you meet your reading goals? What were your biggest distractions? I sure did I thought I would only read 3 books and I finished 5 books this time! Oh I would say my computer was a big distraction. lol
3. What was your favorite read of the read-a-thon?
Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet
I loved this book!
4. Do you have any suggestions for how to make the read-a-thon better for next time?
Nope I think that you guys are doing a great job with the read-a-thons.
5. Do you plan to participate in future group read-a-thons?
For sure I will. I always have fun doing them and it helps me play catch up on my TBR list!

1. How many books did you finish? How many pages did you read?
4 books, 5.25h of audio, 1 novella and 1 graphic novel (+ 1 manga and 1 picture book that I didn't count for the read-a-thon). 997 pages without the graphic novel :)
2. Did you participate to a bingo (individual or team)?
Team Lemon!
3. Did you have fun? What were your favorite parts? What would you like to see more of in future read-a-thons?
As usual, I enjoyed participating to the read-a-thon with this group. The team bingo was really exciting and nice and I also enjoyed a lot some of the games.
2. Did you meet your reading goals? What were your biggest distractions?
Yes, I finished more books than what I expected. I have some social life this week and of course work, which are both not very nice when you want to read all day.
3. What was your favorite read of the read-a-thon?
The Ask and the Answer, I love Patrick Ness, even if I wanted to put the characters in the fire.
4. Do you have any suggestions for how to make the read-a-thon better for next time?
Keep the scramble games and the guess the covers, they are fun. Also, another team bingo :)
5. Do you plan to participate in future group read-a-thons?
Yes, if I'm not in a too much busy week.

I finished 1 short story, 2 children's books, 1 play and 3 books. It was a total of 1473 pages.
2. Did you participate to a bingo (individual or team)?
I participated in both, but I struggled with the individual bingo! I don't think I finished any full lines, but I was so close on each one.
3. Did you have fun? What were your favorite parts? What would you like to see more of in future read-a-thons?
I had a lot of fun, and I read a lot more than I expected I would. My favourite was the team bingo, but I also really enjoyed the book tags. I would love to see more bingo games, more team challenges, and more tags.
2. Did you meet your reading goals? What were your biggest distractions?
I didn't really have a specific goal, but I am impressed with how much I was able to read in the span of one week. My main distraction was work stress.
3. What was your favorite read of the read-a-thon?
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
4. Do you have any suggestions for how to make the read-a-thon better for next time?
I partly agree that the group bingo needs to be a bit more challenging. My team progressed very quickly, and I don't really feel like I contributed too much because by the time I got home in the evening to read, things were already done. I also found it a tiny bit confusing at times to keep track of what my team still had left, but I think that was mostly my own problem.
5. Do you plan to participate in future group read-a-thons?
Definitely!

2. Did you participate to a bingo (individual or team)? Nope.
3. Did you have fun? What were your favorite parts? What would you like to see more of in future read-a-thons? I had a great time! Can't really think what I'd like to see more of.
4. Did you meet your reading goals? What were your biggest distractions? Not quite - I didn't get to The First Time She Drowned, and I quit Lab Girl. But I'm still happy with my progress, in spite of the ridiculous amount of work I had going on this past week.
5. What was your favorite read of the read-a-thon? I'm surprised to say that it was Still Life! I'm not a mystery reader, really, but I liked this a lot.
6. Do you have any suggestions for how to make the read-a-thon better for next time? Not really.
7. Do you plan to participate in future group read-a-thons? Yep!
