I just thought of something that might complicate things for our discussion. Jeff doesn't chapter his books. We'll get around it somehow though. :)

I think it might just be you and me for this one, Angela. It doesn't help that we are starting in this group with the third one... at least we have Jeff here!
Definitely a series I want to read. I just have too many open ones at this point and need to do some cleanup first.
Jenna how are placed to read this in December? Late December would work for me as I think Deadhouse Gates will take me a couple of weeks to read.

Late December sounds good for me.
Bill wrote: "I am about to start this today. I finished book 2 last night and don't think I can wait a month to finish the series off. Will join in the discussion whenever you do read it."
Enjoy!

I hope you all enjoy the book. Thanks for reading!

Perfect. Looking forward to it.

Jenna I've set a date for 26th December and into January. I'm on holiday then for two weeks, so unfortunately might not be commenting a lot but planning to read over that time.
Nice. I would love to start that day, but it will no doubt be Christmas madness at my house. Plus it will be the first day of my holidays. I'm looking forward to some sunshine and swimming!
I suppose that might be the only benefit of living internationally. I will cuddle up with a book on Christmas Eve.

It is the third book - if you can't catch up, you can always take your time and comment later. The series is great so it's definitely worth trying.

I usually prefer paper copies of books, but the nice thing about the ebook for this series is that I can actually see which chapter I am on!
Chapter 5 - Things are starting to happen! The first couple chapters were just a transition from the ending of the second book, but now things are really picking up speed. :)
Angela do you have a paper copy or an ebook? My page numbers are a bit different than the ones listed on the site so I'm not sure indicating parts by page number would be accurate. On the other hand, if you don't have the ebook, tracking the chapters is a bit tricky.

Good to know, and that's fine - life is always crazy during the holiday season.

In my opinion, this is the best of the series (so far as I am). I'm on chapter 17 right now~

Personally, I loved that part, but I'm also having a hard time seeing how this is all going to wrap up. If it was a longer series, I wouldn't worry, but I only have ~120 pages left and so many things need to happen! Don't worry Jeff, I trust you.
If you are still watching this thread at all, Jeff (wouldn't blame you if you didn't have time), how long did all the goings on (view spoiler)

Thanks! I am kind of seeing where this is going now - less than 100 pages to go!

It would have been a really cool POV. Maybe an idea for the next series in this world. Past or future (if she lives through this book).

Hope your trust isn't misplaced. Ha. Ha?
I believe in one version I spelled out that Soffjian wasn't feeling the pull from the other side as badly as expected, but somehow that got waylaid in edits and disappeared and I didn't notice. But of course good readers notice everything. And ask questions that make me sheepishly look at my shuffling feet and mumble something or other about, uh, magic. Or something.

Glad to hear it, Bill.

For what it's worth, a LOT happens in the last 150 pages. Like, a lot a lot. :)

For what it's worth, my next book/series (unrelated to Bloodsounder at all) has four POVs, two male, two female. So maybe you will dig that more.

Thanks for replying Jeff. I gather there must be a lot happening at the end, given Jenna's comments. Looking forward to it.
Awesome about you next book have a few POV's in it.

Nice! Will look forward to that series as well. And I must say Angela, for all my worries, it wrapped up perfectly.

81% okay events are starting to tie together. Well played Jeff. It's a nice little discovery at this point.

Looking forward to your impressions after the last 19%.
