Hi, could you please add this book to my author profile. It's currently sitting in someone else's with the same name. Thank you.

Hi, I'm trying to add a book to my list, but it's coming up as an edition to an older book instead of a separate new book. And it needs a cover.
The new book is Eye of Sun (Dragon Soul Quartet, #4) and it shows up as an edition of Eye of Sun (Dragon Soul Trilogy, #3)

I can't even give you a GR link as it's all screwy and keeps reverting back to the other book. Let me know if you need more info.

Cover from Amazon added to the Kindle and paperback edition of Eye of Sun.
Books with the same content should be combined as editions.
Did you change the series? According to Amazon, it looks like Myths of the Mirror is now book 1 of the Dragon Soul Quartet, and the books of the Dragon Soul Trilogy 1-3 are book 2-4 of the Quartet. Can you confirm please?
We can create a new series, or update the existing series.
I've also combined the editions of the other books.
As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, which will come up in searches by title and show on your author profile.

Yes, That's exactly what happened. The content is the same (other than fixing some typos). The series was revamped so now Myths of the Mirror is book 1 of the Dragon Soul Quartet. Eye of Fire became book 2, Eye of Blind book 3 and Eye of Sun book 4. I'd love to have them combined as editions so I can have the latest edition visible (way less confusing), but it was so funky I didn't know how to do that. Thanks!

Librarians can't make the newest editions the default.
Authors can set the default edition; here are the instructions:
1) Navigate to the book's page. Be sure you have selected the edition you wish to become the default (primary) edition.
2) Click "edit details" below the book's description.
3) On the right side of the page, click "Set this book as the primary edition for this work". It's about midway down the page.
