I was snooping on Ezi's reading plan for October, and it looks like she's got this book on it. I was waiting for her to read before starting Filthy English, so we may need to push it back into October if she's not ready to read this yet.

As for me, I'm pretty behind right now, so I may not get to it if we start this week, but I can try to read it at the same time I read the rest of the books I need to read for September.

I've got a buddy read starting tomorrow, and I'm currently in the middle of the end of another book, so as soon as I finish it, I'll start this one and read it in tandem with my other buddy read. God knows, I'll need frequent breaks from Charley Davidson!

Yeah, I had book 3, but I had to get a review in before it archived at the end of September, so I wound up reading it last month.

Ok, so I started this one on the 9th, and I just can't get into it! I'm 30-something percent into it, and I really hate Remi! Dax hasn't shown enough of himself to have me make a determination one way or the other. I don't remember the first book sucking this bad!

Anyone else have any thoughts on the book?

Put it down, read something else and then return to the book. Sometimes it helps me. Sometimes it doesn't though. But try stepping away

I finally broke down last night and started my Charley Davidson BR that I was supposed to start on the 10th, so I'll read both of them in tandem and see how things go.

It's only a $1 for a few days. It's a great deal, I love Sarina Bowen's writing. I have listened to her Ivy Years series
which I got 2 of the 4 books on kindle freebies and the other ones on sale for $0.99

I want to add that gap in the teeth used to be so revered in Nigeria that my grandmother said her mother used a rock to try to chisel a space in between her two top front teeth.
It bled and my grandmother has one tooth that discoloration because of nerve damage. It's bluish.

I'm in chapter 5, I can already tell this plot is going to be the same old same old. It lacks depth.

It seems to me that Remy was counting on a life with Hartford for security for her and her autistic brother NOT for love. This whole drunk girl sad thing is about sadness and loss of a dream not once did she say how much she loves him and how hurt she is.
It's a marriage of convenience and 3wks with Remy was more intense.

I don't believe Hartford loved Remy at all. He's too selfcentered for that to be true. Remy believed she loved Hartford because he fit her ideal man to a T.

Hartford breaking up for her was a ploy to get her to come crawling back to him.
