Jean | 2396 comments Fiction, but probably based on the author's experiences as an autistic man! I worked in programs for adults with developmental disabilities years ago, and I found this to be well-written, both from a client's and staff person's perspective. Upward Bound Upward Bound by Woody Brown
Short and very readable.

PattyMacDotComma | 1272 comments The remote and sparsely settled west coast of New Zealand's South Island makes a great setting for NZ author Chris Blake's new thriller, Softly Calls the Devil. I hope we see more of the small town cop who was once a high-powered detective.
