Why does my brain vomit so many blurbs? Help...?

Blurb 2 won't draw in a lot of readers unfamiliar with book 1 of the series. Also without more explanation it is easy to mistake the book for a paranormal romance or a fantasy. Maybe some of the backstory from blurb 1 with some of the creativity of blurb2.
Oooh, good point about the possible PR/fantasy confusion! Heh. I didn't really consider trying to draw readers unfamiliar with book one but also a good point haha! Thank you so much, Miss Tara!!!
Big hugs,
Ann

(Yes, I'm derailing this thread. But it's about my blurb so it's okay, right? Riiight?)

If anything it makes me wish there was a like button on gr lol. Besides, derailments often yield surprisingly great results.
Okay I will try to set aside the fact that I love Disney (and that I actually looked at Cinderella/Prince Charming pajamas yesterday when I was shopping!), I do actually like both, but for me personally the first one makes me think the story is going to be more about the actual living together because there are specifics about the apartment, the second one makes me think its more about the relationship and what happens at night that causes difficulties. Maybe there is a way to combine a bit of both?
Thank you, Princess Jane!
I'll work on a combination as you and Miss Tara have suggested. It's funny cuz I whipped up the current blurb in a like 30 seconds and was totally happy with it. And then, this one just came to me and...

Hugs my lovely ladies,

This girl...
She's Cinderella.
I'm Prince Charming.
It's a fairy tale.
Except...
I’m still a workaholic. And stubborn as all hell. With a raging hero complex. Not to mention, 523 square feet is really f*cking small. Especially when you’re a damn paraplegic.
Meh?

I like the first one. The second one was very short and didn't tell me much. If I didn't read the first one I would definitely think this was some sort of fairy tale. (Not that that would be bad.)Post the next blurb when you combine them so we can see. You rock at blurbs so I have complete faith it will come out awesome!
Lol. we must've hit send at the same time.I (and don't hate me) still like the original one the best. I love Cinderella, but is there a reason you like starting it out like that? Just curious. Them combined is better than just the second by itself, but the first one is still by far my favorite:)
Edit: And the mention of the 523 sq ft in the last one doesn't make sense now because we don't know they live together so I would be wondering what that meant.
Hahaha why would I hate you, Queen Amanda?
You could say I need to start from scratch cuz it all sucks and that'd be alright. I wouldn't ask if I didn't wanna know ^_~
Good point about the sq footage. Hmm. Maybe I should stick to my gut instinct after all, eh?
Oh, and not sure where the Cinderella thing came from. Just popped into my head. Has no significance whatsoever LMAO!!

Well, Cinderella is pretty awesome. It doesn't suck, I'm just a fan of the first one. It's different and intriguing to me. If gives such a nice view of the personality and I like what I see from it. If that makes sense.... *grins*
Hmmm . . . I don't think I like the combined one as much as either of the first two, and although the Cinderella one appeals to the Disney lover in me, I think it would possibly be better for the first book in a series, so although I like it having thought about it I think you should stick with what you originally had
I like the first one.It made me want to read the book.
Which is, after all, the whole point of the thing, right?
xoxo
Miss Bree
Thank you, my lovely Princess Jane and Miss Bree! And yes, that is certainly the whole point ^_~

I did that thing again where my brain spits out random stuff and I kinda dig it. I realize both blurbs say nothing about the story haha! Would you wickedly awesome peeperoonies lemme know which one you find more catchy, pretty please?
Current Blurb:
It’s been two months since I moved in with Mickey Hart.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
Oh, and one last thing...
I love her. More than ever.
Even if I'm still a workaholic. And stubborn as all hell.
Brain Vomit Blurb:
This girl…
She’s Cinderella.
I’m Prince Charming.
It’s a goddamn fairytale.
Perfect during the day.
