message 101: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) ((Morning :) ))

Lexi raised an eyebrow. "Too awkward to accept my invitation of hospitality? I thought you angels were supposed to be polite?" She laughed softly. "And its not like I'm all that worried about you making any moves on me. You're an angel after all..." She grinned.

message 102: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "You have the totally preconceived idea of angels!" He said, laughing. "I guess I can..." He accepted.

message 103: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi tried not to grin too wide. "Awesome. Now I just need to figure out how to smuggle you in and out of my house." She clasped her hands together in excitement. "Oh this is going to be so much more fun than life usually is." Then she stopped and raised an eyebrow. "The preconceived idea? So what are you trying to tell me here? You are going to make a move on me after all?" She tipped her head and crossed her arms, a small grin playing on her lips.

message 104: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "You're killing me here!" He said, exasperated, but he was laughing. "And I guess that would be a problem," he said thoughtfully, thinking about how to get in.

message 105: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) She brushed it off with a wave of her hand. "Ah, you can probably just fly in the window, as long as you can actually use those wings of yours." Then she leaned back in her chair slightly. "I'm, killing, you? Yeah right. What's so funny anyways? I feel like I'm missing something."

message 106: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "Of course I can use them! They would be pointless if I couldn't!" He said. "And yeah, well, it's been said it's easy for angels and demons to fall in love, you know, with the whole opposites attract thing," he said, shoving his hands in his pockets.

message 107: by Lara (last edited May 16, 2014 07:31AM) (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi raised her hands in surrender. "I was just checking!" Then she raised an eyebrow. "Oh really..." Well that certainly was interesting. So was that why she was totally and helplessly in love with someone she just met? Was it fake? "So does that mean you don't have to be a perfect little angel in a relationship? No pun intended. Do you actually... well... have fun once in a while?" She had to know what she was dealing with here, because if there was any chance he might well... she would have to set down some rules.

message 108: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "Well, I haven't before, if that's what you're asking. I may not be perfect, but I'm not devious," he replied, chuckling.

message 109: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi relaxed a little. "Ok. Good to know." She grinned slightly. "But we have missed our next class. Want to just play hooky for the rest of the day? We're not missing much... They only start giving out work on day 2." She raised an eyebrow.

message 110: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "I gladly accept," he said, chuckling. He put his wings away and stood up. "You still doing okay?" He asked.

message 111: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi's eyebrows raised in surprise when he hid his wings. Where did they go? Her eyes trailed over him slowly. Then she realized she was staring. She shook her head, and looked up at him. "What?" Then she blushed. "I mean, yeah. Yeah I am. Shall we go?" She walked to the classroom door and waited for him.

message 112: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Tristan saw her looking at he smiled. "They can always come back, don't worry," he said and walked to her, putting his shirt back on. It was one of those skintight shirts, so it took him a couple seconds.

message 113: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi had a hard time not staring at him again as he put his shirt back on. She blushed softly and forced her eyes to peel away from him. He was just so... she blushed brighter. "Ok. Cause I miss them already." she more missed him having his shirt off, but she wasn't going to say that. "Let's go." She opened the door and slipped outside, looking around the hallways, before starting to make her way towards the front door.

message 114: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Tristan walked lazily behind her, acutely aware of how tight his shirt was. He followed her and walked out of school with her.

message 115: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi looked back at him as she shouldered the door and walked outside. "So how long have you been here? Do you know the town? Do you want me to show you around? Have you been here long?" she asked, bombarding him with questions.

message 116: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "Woah, okay!" He said, laughing. "Yes, I've been here for about a month, to figure out the town a bit. I can't say I know everything, but most," he answerd

message 117: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi smiled. "Sorry." Then she nodded. "Well that makes my job easier." She started to walk down the sidewalk. "What do you say we go get icecream?" She asked, smiling up at him as they walked.

message 118: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments " I love ice cream!" He said, flipping out. "I'll give humans that! They know how to make a mean ice cream cone!" He laughed.

message 119: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi laughed. "Ice cream it is then. Do you guys not have that up in heaven or something?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

message 120: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "No, we don't actually. Angels technically don't have to eat, but it's kind of like when he are around humans, we take on human needs, like eating, sleeping, umm, et cetera," he said, stumbling over the last part.

message 121: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi laughed softly in understanding. "Gotcha. So what is so special about angels anyways? Besides the wings, and not having bodily needs, and living in heaven?" She asked, curious. What was different about him and her, or rather, humans in general? She wanted to know.

message 122: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "That's a pretty deep question for ice cream," he said, smiling. "Well, there isn't much of a difference besides the fact that we can alter the universe if need be. But not as much as the Father can."

message 123: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi's eyes widened slightly in shock. "Not much of a difference huh? Just... you know... altering the universe!" she shook her head. "You talk about it like its an everyday thing!" she squared her shoulders and tried to talk in a deep voice. "Hey guys, I think I'm going to go alter the universe today."

message 124: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Tristan laughed. "Well, I guess it kind of is like that," he said, shrugging. "I can show you sometime if you want."

message 125: by Lara (last edited May 16, 2014 09:12AM) (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi smiled then. "That would be seriously awesome." They arrived at the ice cream shop and she walked inside, looking over the flavors. "Choose which one you'd like. I'll pay for us." Then she added in a hushed whisper. "And I want to hear all about these powers of yours once we've paid and gotten out of here." she grinned at him.

message 126: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "I got money," he said, digging out his wallet. "I'm not completely new to the idea of human living," he laughed, ordering his cone. He ordered ended largest size available, and immediately started licking it when he got it.

message 127: by Lara (last edited May 16, 2014 09:58AM) (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi shrugged. "I wasn't totally sure." she ended choosing rainbow sherbet, and got two scoops of it, smiling at him, before walking out with him. She lead them around back, where there was a partially secluded and grassy hill. She sat down casually. "So..." She licked her cone. "Tell me about yourself."

message 128: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "Wow, that wasn't weird," he said, smiling. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding," he said. "Well, whT do you want to know? That question is so openended," he said, sitting down.

message 129: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi wiggled her eyebrows at him. "Yup. I'm weird like that." She thought for a moment. "I don't know. What's your favorite color? What's your favorite song? Do angels even listen to music? Oh, and what powers do you have? What's you're favorite food? Besides ice cream of course... Sorry. That was probably a lot of questions at once..." She laughed softly, taking another lick of her ice cream.

message 130: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "Um, aqua, anything by Of Mice & Men, yes, lots, and probably Macaroni and cheese!" He said in one breath. He smiled at her. "And about the whole music thing, I know that it is a screamo band. Angels aren't goody two shoes, but we aren't conniving, either. We actually do disobey sometimes, believe or not!" She answered.

message 131: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi nodded at each of his answers. Then she laughed. "Seriously? I thought angels were supposed to be perfect and never do anything wrong. So this is news to me." She grinned.

message 132: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "I'm telling you! It's that preconceived idea!" He said, licking his cone.

message 133: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi laughed. "Ok! Ok! I got it. Sorry for not believing the right thing." She smiled at him, licking around the base of the cone. "So, you said something about telepathic powers? Can you read my mind?"

message 134: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "Not really, but emotions," he replied. "Like, imagine an aura, I pretty much just see those."

message 135: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi chewed her lip, thinking about that. She nodded slowly after a while. "Ok. I think that makes sense." She finished her ice cream, starting to eat the cone thoughtfully. "Ok, really random question, I know, but do you like being an angel?" She lay back on the grass and turned her head to look over at him.

message 136: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "I don't know," he said, thinking. "I've never really known anything else," he shrugged.

message 137: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi nodded. That made sense. "Shall we head to my house then? School's out now, and it would be good to sneak in before my parents get home..." She added, chewing her lip.

message 138: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "Sure," he said, eating the last of his cone. He stood up and wiped the loose grass off himself.

message 139: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi stood up as well, dusting herself off. She looked up at the sky and the position of the sun and groaned. "Crap! my house is all the way on the other side of town! We're never going to get there in time!" She groaned.

message 140: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "Well...." He said, smiling at her. He pulled her gently into an empty alley, and unfurled his wings. "Lucky, we have another way to get there," he said.

message 141: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi's eyes widened when they landed on his wings. "You don't mean..." Her eyes widened even further. "I-is it, well... safe?" She asked hesitantly.

message 142: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "Don't worry, I'm not going to drop you," he said, stepping sideways so he could straighten his wings out.

message 143: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) They were huge, his wings, and Lexi couldn't help but stare. "Yeah, but..." She bit her lip, still a bit hesitant. She didn't want to admit that she was scared of heights.

message 144: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Sensing she was worried about something, he elaborated. "We can fly right over the cityscape, alright?" He said, holding out his hand for her to take. "Everything will be fine, I promise."

message 145: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi looked down, thinking, and then looked back up and nodded hesitantly. "Ok. I trust you." she said softly, carefully placing her hand in his.

message 146: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Tristan brought her closer and scooped her into his arms, bending down, and jumping up, his wings taking them higher into the air. The air wavered around them, and Tristan explained. "I just set up a little force field thing, as you would say, so civilians can't see us."

message 147: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi looked down at the ground, her eyes wide, and she immediately wrapped her arms around him, clinging to him for dear life. "That's smart." She agreed, her voice soft. They were so high up... After she got over the initial shock of it, she realized that she was starting to enjoy the flight, and she relaxed a little. "This is great!"

message 148: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments Tristan looked down at her, looking worried, but relaxed when she did. "I'm glad you think so," he said. God, he wanted to kiss her. The were so close already...

message 149: by Lara (new)

Lara (gurlwhowrites) Lexi looked up at him then, and noticed how he was looking at her. Suddenly his eyes looked so beautiful, and she found herself captivated by them. The urge to kiss him was almost overwhelming, but she controlled herself, looking down just as they flew over her house. "There. Down there." She pointed.

message 150: by Addisen (new)

Addisen | 4577 comments "'Kay," he said and gently landed on the ground. He set her down softly, and stood a couple feet back, blushing against his will.
